Sorta like photosig but for artists - great site if you are an aspiring artist, but I think not enough people are using the site to give valuable feedback. This is an offshoot of photosig, but not quite as good.
Best place to find a new camera - This is probably the best place on the web where you can discuss the latest cameras. It doesn't have much about technique or style, but you can discuss the gear. It is also a great place to find out about the latest and greatest equipment.
Best way to learn about photography is from this site - Everything I learned about how to use my new Nikon D70, I learned from this site. I learned how to frame, compose and how to take great photos. You can easily become a member for free if you just message an existing user and ask to be given a free membership. But eventually you will want to pay for a membership on your own. The feedback from the other members is the best part about the site
