I had an absolutely horrible experience with Daily Candy Deals, and although I love their newsletter, I would advise you all NOT to purchase from this company.

I received a deal from the Black Box Dessert Club as a gift, and when I went to use the promo code, it was invalid. After contacting Daily Candy's customer service department via email, I waited almost a week before receiving a reply, which said they were working on resolving the issue. After not hearing back, I tried the code again, which was valid but worth the wrong value. I reached out to customer service two more times before receiving a reply (after the code had expired), saying they had refunded the credit card the deal was purchased on. Since I received this as a gift (as I had already mentioned in our email correspondence) the credit card refunded was not mine. I have since called Daily Candy Deals and left messages with their customer service department TWICE, expressing my frustration with their service, and still have not received a response almost three weeks later. They have definitely lost my business due to their incredibly unprofessional behavior. I would recommend using Living Social or Groupon instead, as I have only had great experiences with those companies.
