HOW THE SCAM WORKS
1) A false post is placed on the website Ripoff Report by the site writers, an ex, etc.

2) The target is immediately bombarded with Ripoff Report "reputation defender" partners and Ripoff Report itself offering to remove the posts or move it from the front page of Google searches for thousands of dollars monthly.

3) Google is a knowing and willing partner. It is the same scam Google runs with its free reverse phone number look up ads, NONE ARE FREE. In both cases the (Federal Trade Commision) FTC long ago should have done to Google what the European Union is doing-fine them heavily and break them up. Why doesn't the FTC sanction Google for these obvious scams? CORRUPTION. The politicians take money from Google and then the FTC and Congress go right along with the scam. It is just that neither expected our think tank to get involved. All of the old media, politicians, and "experts" said Google would not and could not be beat in Australia and would not be fined in the European Union.

WHY did we get involved? The Ripoff Report scam has led to children turning suicidal, veterans losing the chance for life altering medical help, and the loss of untold jobs by businesses going under due to the false posts. It is the fault of people for believing such nonsense (they seldom research the site). It is again a case of corrupt politicians, the corrupt media, and incompetency within the legal system that forced us to take on the issue.
