City Speakeasy is a really cool experience if you are trying to learn a new language, meet new people and/or try new things. The teachers and classmates that I've had were all young, engaging and and fun to be around. Teachers were able to foster participation and enthusiastic about teaching. Students were eager to learn. The field trips are also pretty awesome. So far I've done wine tasting en francais, and a cooking class en francais aussi! They're fun, and you really get a chance to learn the intricacies of a language, such as idioms, slang, and technical terms you might not otherwise learn in a traditional setting. I would recommend this to anyone who is young at heart, adventure-seeking and eager to learn.
