The building is being remodeled but is nice and clean. The room was very neat. It got cold with the new air running. Breakfast ok except for the link sausage. Good value

You've seen the pool advertised on TV, free installation, etc., for under 500? Forget it. The sales person comes out and goes into the differences in the pool liners, pumps, etc. Then she tells you that for the inexpensive one, you must raise your homeowners by 150,000 and get a letter signed by a lawyer before you can buy it. Then they show you the next one, with a 14,500 price difference. They will communicate with the office several times and the car salesman on the other end goes into this long diatribe about the pools, lower the price and throw in stuff. The salesman will claim they can get you a show pool at a reduced cost, and claim it's a new thing, yet the paperwork mentions pager numbers. When you read the fine print, you see the interest rate is 29.99%. Tell them no way and they tell you that's the last resort interest. When you hear back, the rate is 34% and they immediately tell you they will sell you the next step up pool at a cost of 8000 and you will get a 15% interest rate. So let me get this straight, you can't get the most inexpensive without a form from a lawyer... the next one up is 34% based on credit they say, but since your credit isn't perfect they will put you more in debt for less interest? Also they say they will put a lien on your home for the pool... you can't put a ien on a home for a pool sitting on the grounds. I researched the pools, the size they offer runs about 1500, the ion filter another 1000 on average, Solar covers average 100. So they are trying to sell you a pool at 15,000 for what cost them less than 2000. Unreal how they are still in business. They also tell you that you can cancel in writing within 3 days... but you must do it in writing and of course they can tell you they didn't get it. Cancelling the pool can cost you 50% to 100%

Fred's is a discount chain found in a lot of states. They offer a number of items and food. The best thing is you can put stuff on layaway, and the prices are much lower than other stores. We have used this store about 10 years and have been very happy with it.

I had brain surgery and was left paralyzed. The trip for followups took about 2 hours. On the way home we stopped at Shoney's. I was in a wheelchair. We ate our food and were preparing to leave. My spouse parked my chair across from the checkout counter and he went to use the facilities. A young lady came out and asked if she could help and I told her he went to the bathroom and would be right out. She went in the back and I heard them talking about the lady in the chair sitting out there. She said she thought we might be trying to steal something. A guy came out and asked if he could help me, I again told him I was waiting on my husband. He went back and loudly announced that something wasn't right with the crippled old bag. This was off the interstate in Sevierville, TN. He came out, we paid and left. I immediately contacted the store manager and corporate, who said they would take care of it... we never heard back and have not been back.

  • Walmart

I've ordered a lot through the site using Paypal and have not had a problem. In fact, when my computer changed me to a store out of state, they promptly cancelled the order and sent another. Simple way to shop.

  • Amazon

Ordered a stereo and it came broken. They don't give refunds, only store credit.

  • Petsmart

5/4/15

I think they are way overpriced on a lot of items... it's easy to spend 100 on just a few things. The upside is the selection and seeing all the other pets. One thing, the birds they sell aren't used to people, so you can never touch one of them.

  • Fry's

My husband and son love it.

  • Victoria's Secret

5/4/15

The only thing I've ever bought is their vanilla perfume, which is the only one that doesn't have a musk base, which I'm allergic to. I took my daughter there for a bra and they were extremely helpful with measurements, suggestions, etc.

  • Old Navy

The cotton is extremely thin on shirts as compared to Walmart or other stores. It seems you are paying them to advertise for them.

  • Netflix

5/4/15

We are long time subscribers and they do have a great choice for people like us who like documentaries. The only down side is it takes forever to get a newly released movie, so we go to Redbox.

  • Target

5/4/15

I like when you go in you can find what you're looking for. The displays are very neat and the quality seems a little better than Walmart.

  • Sears

5/4/15

The displays are somewhat out of style, but they still have good clothing at reasonable prices. I like the fact that they have people there who know how to measure for a suit. It's like going back in time to shop. I hope they can draw in the young crowd... that should be the focus of advertising. We went to buy appliances and the guys were sitting in a huddle and we had to go and get somebody's attention to get help.

  • ToysRus

5/4/15

The prices are a tad higher, but it's a lot of fun to go in and see what all is there. Good selection.

  • Bed Bath & Beyond

5/4/15

We watch the Sunday paper for specials and the prices are very competitive.

  • Staples

5/4/15

I didn't see anything special about them really and the prices were a little higher.

  • Overstock.com

5/4/15

I couldn't see the prices were any better than anywhere else, and in most cases they were higher.

  • WebMD

5/4/15

You really don't see anything here you can't find on google answers or general sites.

  • Priceline

5/4/15

I've used this site several times and it really helps in finding a place to stay.

  • Lowe's

5/4/15

We bought a home and have had many projects, one of which is replacing doors. I called them after my bad experience with Home Depot and because of what we had gone through, they did the estimate at no charge. Our installer was Steve, who is one of the nicest, laid back guys I've ever met. He and his assistant did a wonderful job on all doors, and Lowe's calls back to make sure everything went okay. If we buy more lumber than we need (or anything) they gladly take back the leftover. They also give a military discount, which adds up.
