Our company purchased a list of over 3200 names and email addresses within a particular industry. We were assured they would give us pertinent leads that were live email addresses. Unfortunately the contacts listed ranged in industry from popcorn poppers to children's play stores to roofing companies and only 1453 were usable email addresses (that's a paltry 45% success rate). After a couple months of unsupported promises for new email addresses, Dereck Lee and Shawn Mills failed to respond.
