This site is exactly what it states: a great resource for up-and-coming writers to connect to editors. Other than that, it's just another online journal. The community is highly varied and plenty of cross-chatter occurs, but over a very, very long period of time. It's not a 'link-up and make friends' kind of site. While ample space is provided for just about any kind of writing project you may want to start/upload, the likelihood of it being read or even reviewed by other readers/editors relies entirely on your knack for uploading it in the broadest categories possible and with the perfect (early alphabet) title to draw attention before boredom sets in scanning through the forums. All things considered, however, not many sites like this exist and some problems are expected. Technically speaking, this site has never caused me any problems and i've been a member for quite some time. It's an excellent resource for younger writers as well, as it serves to break that initial fear of exposing one's literary poise to the world. All in all, not fantastic or mindblowing, but pleasantly appealing and unique in its design.

Tried joining this community several times throughout the day; even attempted to set up a free blog through their server, which is apparently available to anyone and supplies with 10mb of upload space for photos and images... neither the profile creation mechanic, nor the blog-setup procedures worked properly. After having registered, confirmed, and activated my account in both instances, the site repeatedly reported false login information and invalid username/password combinations. Now, it seems the site has my e-mail address, a few bits of personal info regarding my interests and hobbies, and enough resources on my profile to make some money selling that information to marketers and salesman. I expect to receive even more junk mail to my e-mail account now and will not be visiting this site again unless some serious technical overhauls take place. -Avoid
