This past June of 2019 we contacted Rite Rug per the suggestion of our real estate agent. They sent out a saleslady who brought samples of carpet to the house. My wife then choose a multi colored carpet that had different heights. We then had to get the walls painted. After painting was finished we were to notify them and they would install the carpet. When the time came we notified them. My wife asked if they would like to meet to make sure they had the right carpet and was told no; Jennifer could not find notes on the type of carpet but she was sure she had it and knew what carpet it was. After the install of the carpet we went out to the house to inspect it. There was all types of damage to our newly painted walls. To our horror they installed the wrong carpet through out the house. It clashed with the new painted walls. We tried for over a week to contact the sales rep. After we reached the corp office they got the rep to come out, clean the walls, patch the walls and replace destroyed blinds. We agreed with the rep to allow three weeks to see if the house (with the wrong carpet) sold. The house did not sale and the response from some the people who looked at the house was about the difference between the walls and carpet. Many times we have tried to notify the rep but have gotten no response back. We would love to have this resolved. It has been a major issue with some buyers and has delayed the house selling. There are no signatures by us approving the carpet or the job, we do not get a proposal or even an itemized invoice from this Company.
