I am not a professional mountain bike rider, but I like good equipment that works. I did a lot of research and was trying to stay around the $1000 mark. I decided on this bike based on the following, Alum. frame with tapered head tube, Shimano SLX/XT compoenents, 120mm travel air fork, Guide R disc brakes, and the price. I got the box in the mail and it was packaged and pre-assembled very well. Once I was complete in a few hours (taking my time) the bike exceeded my expectations. It needed little adjustment to the brakes for rubbing, but that was it. I have put 50 miles on it and am very happy with my purchase. The frame is actually a lot nicer than I would have thought. This is actually a pretty good deal for 80% of riders.

There was a couple of small clips missing on the frame that held the rear brake line to the frame...

I bought a New Fuji SL 3.2 and received my bike in no time. I had a problem with one of the tires...
