I had signed up to take my exam remotely. I was all set to start, had downloaded the secure browser, shown my ID to the camera and held my laptop up so the proctor could get a 360 view of my surroundings. Then the software froze, said it could not locate my face and shut down. When I tried to log back in I got a message saying that I had completed the test. I never started the test in the first place. I called customer service and waited on hold for an hour to speak to an agent who told me she was "so sorry" and was going to help me but she would not issue me a refund. I told her that I wanted to speak to a manger to which she said "I'll transfer you to customer support." Again I demanded to speak to a manager. I did not want to take the exam again at that point. I wanted a refund. So she said "Okay I'm dialing right now. Please hold" then she put me back in the customer service queue. Needless to say, I never spoke to a manager. I sent two emails and received two auto-generated responses that said someone would respond in 5-6 business days.
