I was very happy with Etrailer.com until a recent purchase. I was very disappointed with the product. A week later, I received an email to review the product. I left an honest, but negative review. Out of curiosity, I checked the status of this review a few weeks later. It does not show up on the website. I contacted them. Still no review. That was 3 months ago. Still no review. The only reason I can see for this is that they prioritize sales over customer satisfaction. The hide negative reviews to prevent customers from making informed decisions. I am done doing business with them. Why have a review system if you plan on blocking negative reviews?

Tip for consumers:
Do your research from another site. Don't trust the reviews you see.

I purchased a metal cutting lathe. It took me 3 years to make a decision. The staff is kind and easy to work with. They helped me through the whole process. I was nervous about receiving the freight truck and they helped greatly. The packaging was done extremely well. I love my lathe and plan to purchase more from them in the future.

Is you have any questions, don't hesitate to ask. They are great and don't make you feel dumb.

I have been purchasing from Rockauto.com for years. I can tell you, they are not a scam site. A scam is ran by a very competent person that intentionally deceives you. Rockauto employs very incompetent people that just don't know how to read. I recently had a part that was stalled and had not shipped from the warehouse. I emailed the hidden email address asking them to look into it. I received the worst possible customer service response that could have been better sent by Siri. It simply said to go to the website and check my order status. The guy (Rodney) totally ignored my email all together. It almost looks like it is just an auto-reply to all messages. I understand wanting to automate all you can and be efficient. Ignoring your customer's issues and canned responses are not a good solution.

Tip for consumers:
Make sure you are not in a rush and have time to play parts return game.
