I couldn't see anything about the range of the device or how it is used. The price seems right and I have a problem I would like to solve and I hope this will do the trick.

Good price. A simple device to solve a problem most dog owners have.
You won't find a better or larger selection of hilts. A simple way to build what you want through their customizing system. There is a lot of information on their site including some background and history for the hilts. Tons of youtube reviews as well as useful information on working with your system to optimize your experience. If I had a complaint is that I would like to see more external buttons to control some of the most common features. The sound level is one of them. The biggest complaint on the reviews is how loud it is. Otherwise, I love both of mine.
Tip for consumers:
The site is fairly easy to use. Some things like histories and install and use information (manuals) are a little hard to find, but they are there. Spending a little time on the site will be well worth the effort. Sabers show up with no instructions. This is available online. Saber batteries are located in the bottom of the hilt. Remove the pommel and then carefully hit the hilt on a solid surface (straight down). The packet will move to the bottom. Then hit your cupped hand to get it out
Products used:
I purchased two sabers at different dates. I got a customized hilt with a the higher-end options. My second purchase was a Thunder Cats saber with medium options.
