I ordered some items fairly recently and they were supposed to take out money from my debit account the same day. I looked into my checking account 2 weeks after my purchase from Target. Target took out $20 from my account. I asked my bank about it and they said Target didn't take out the money from my account at the time of purchase. I purchased other items and they took the money then... not 2 weeks later. I called Target and kept getting different answers such as an authorization hold then recanted and said it was an error. I am still mad at this because I was low on money and that extra $20 in my account meant food and litter for my 2 cats. I have kept their email stating when they took it out. My bank tells me to talk to someone on the phone... huh?!?! I'm at my branch... why can't you ppl help me. I can barely understand these foreigners they hire for lower wages. It's not the amount that bothers me... it is the attitude toward the whole incident. I am not rich and my bank should have dealt with it as I was already physically there. I didn't like being told to call them when someone was there. I don't know if this is truly Target's fault but I do know that between them and my bank... they're both lying. Just watch your debit/credit statements from Target.
