It seriously doesn't get any worse than this. I purchase $200 worth of lingerie. It came in the mail, and the quality was so $#*!ty, so I returned said items. Afterwards, I was charged 39.95 for some VIP bs. Anyways, they said the returned lingerie was not sanitary and it will now cost $8 to send it back to me. So I paid that. I talked to my bank and before the end of this month I will be canceling my credit card information and closing all accounts associated with this website. I feel like this website is fraudulent. Wish I had googled reviews for this website before taking my coworkers word for it.

Update: April, 21,2014
I reviewed this about a month ago. Here is an update. Adoreme replied back, but has not taken any action. I have lost both my $200, cc #, and all the lingerie that was sent back. It was not a hassle to have a new cc sent to me, but the rest is. I appreciate this 'reply', but I need either the lingerie sent back to me or my money back. This is absolutely ridiculous. Thus, I feel like nothing will happen and have lost hope in the whole situation.

Update: April 29,2014.
After emailing them back to ask for a status update, they got back to me. I was refunded for all but 2 sets. They gave me 2 promo codes for 2 free sets. I am a happy camper now. I honestly thought I lost my money and my lingerie. Thank you Adoreme.

  • HelloFresh

8/7/15

Hello fresh delivers weekly items to make dinner. It cost $69/week. I was sent a free box (trial) and I loved it. 3 meals for 2, can sometimes feed 3-4 people. The ingredients were fresh, cute packaging (jars/supplies), and good insulation/ice packages (which we reuse for coolers). Honestly, it a little pricey, but it breaks down to about $11 a meal/person + prep/cooking time. You can select your deliver times/days.

Good-great variety of food I would never think to make. Harissa lamb meatballs in a yogurt sauce, shrimp po boys, paella, etc... Very delicious and filling.

Bad- I've received a box with bad shrimp, and rotten grapes, celery, chicken, salad.

Also a bit pricey but at the same time, kind of worth it if you are trying to try new healthy portioned foods.

You can use my code if you'd like $20 off of your first box! V6GJRK

  • Gilt

Gilt has some great deals. What sucks about this website is that things go out of stock quickly, there is a NO RETURN POLICY on all things, and if you googled the product, you could find it for a cheaper price on competitive websites.

Sometimes the quality of an item is worth the money, sometimes it is not. Just be careful when making a purchase. You have to ask yourself, how badly you want it, and how many times it will be used, because I've bought a couple of pair of shoes from DV that pinch my toes, and have worn once. Their website it geared towards higher end items and the customer service sucks.

  • Urban Outfitters

4/29/14

I love urban outfitters. It is one of my favorite places to shop at online. Sign up for the newsletter and they will send you coupons, like 40% off sale and free shipping over $50. Sometimes some of the things are poorly made, but returns are easy. If you accidentally order something, call them, and they will manually cancel it for you. They are so nice. I was. 20 cents away from free shipping and the lady over the phone said she will just override the system. Urban is awesome.

  • GlassesShop

10/1/15

I ordered (and was charged immediately) this at the beginning of the month. Never got a tracking or shipping email. After 2 weeks of waiting, I decided to send them an email. They replied saying it was just shipped from their Jersey office, and gave me a tracking number. Took a week to have a real confirmation/working tracking number. It was disappointing because I thought it would come in before my boyfriend left to Africa for work. But it didn't. Anyways it finally arrived in 4 weeks. So if you are willing to wait 4 weeks to get a pair of cheap, made in China glasses, this is the place for you. Otherwise, Stay away from this fraudulent site.

  • Lioele Texas Korean Cosmetics

4/29/14

My experience with LioeleTexas was great! They specialize in Korean makeup. I ordered lioele up and down mascara, waterproof eyeliner, and their Acne control products. I also bought some BB cream, because it was treat yourself wednesdays. The shipping was fast, lots of discounts and promo codes. I really like the Lioele up and down mascara. I have small eyelashes so the 'down' wand works really well all around my face. Their website is small and not overwhelming to look/search through. I love that customers get free samples with a purchase. They also have free shipping over $50 always! They have great quality stuff and fast delivery. Their stuff is moderately priced. Actually, nothing on this site is SUPER expensive. I will be shopping with them again!

  • Rakuten

I ordered a cover for my macbook and it came in within 3 days. It also came with a screen protector and keyboard thing. But both things were poor quality so I threw it out. My friend recommended this site to me because the cover only cost $10 plus free shipping. They have a different sale every day. I didn't really have any problems, so I gave three stars. They do email you once or twice a day for promotions. But you can just unsubscribe.

  • GLOSSYBOX

8/7/15

I purchased a years worth of Glossybox. Why? Because I had a 15% off promo code. Instead of getting it for $21/month it boils down to about $15/month. The products use to be 3-4 full sized items and 1 deluxe. However, it has changed quite a bit, it is exclusively deluxe items with 1-2 full sized items thrown in here and there (full sized Chapstick, anti cellulite cream, eyeliners, lipsticks). Which is unfortunate, but not terribly bad. These items are very luxurious; things I'd never buy because it would break my piggy bank. Recently, glamglow has been in there twice. And my do I love Glamglow and a full sized beauty blender, etc...

So far, I've had no shipping problems, no lost boxes, and no credit card problems. This is great! Beware you must cancel before 30-days in advance. But also check 60-days in advance, in case you forget. Send them an email, they have decent customer service.

Below is my referral if you decide you are interested.

  • Amazon

Amazon is so reliable and has so many things online. Sometimes shipping takes forever, like for books or anything, however, they DO tell you how many days it will take. I ordered boxing gloves and handwraps. I love both.

  • Gilt City

8/17/15

I just purchased something from giltcity. The voucher cost me $88 for $220 on another website. I think that is a steal. There is absolutely NO REFUNDS, so make sure you really really want it. It is like livingsocial/groupon, but a lot less overwhelming. It is also a discount towards LUXURIOUS items/experiences. Also, read the fine print (shipping prices vary) and go to the purchasing website and check shipping. It can be as low as $5 or more. Be wary. My purchase will be coming in soon. I will update.

You can get $25 off your first giltcity order with this referral link: www.giltcity.com/invite/*******aa4ap7d6mp7

  • MemeBox

8/7/15

This review is solely of their skincare collection. It is lovely. I search high and low for a good Korean skincare website. Compared to most, this is so inexpensive. I saw some ranging from $40-$99/bottle on a different website. I was interested in the 10-step skincare regimen. The prices per bottle varies from $5-$50. Spend more than $30 and shipping is free, 2-day priority shipping. Before I checked out, I googled for a promo code because I'm cheap. I found a 20% off your first purchase. The package said "delivered" but was in fact, still at the local post office. I had to flag down my mail-lady and she went back and found it. Apparently, sometimes it says delivered but in fact at the post office or not even received by the post office. That sucks. The day before I received my package, I called USPS, no one picked up, just a robot. Tried to file a claim online, it was faulty and didn't work. Face booked meme box, they redirected me to customer service. Then she delivered the package the next say, bless her, she is a great woman. Note: you're on your own if your package is lost.

BUT THE PRODUCTS! So rich, so nourishing, so cheap, So worth it! I am in love. I only got it today, and I'm back on their website. It was totally worth the hassle. I will most likely purchase something in the future. Oh and they have a lot of sales, keep an eye out!

  • Victoria's Secret

4/29/14

Easy, fast, and lots of promo codes. Easy returns and fast delivery. Free shipping codes, free panty codes, 75 off of 250. A set was too tight on my chest and returned it in person and they said the money will go back in 3-5 business days. Friendly sales associates.

  • Game Stop

This website is AWESOME! I buy everything for my boyfriend and guy friends here. It literally makes me break the bank. They have things on here that are cheaper than on amazon. I LIKE! & My boyfriend loves it too!

  • Beyond The Rack

4/4/14

I thought this website was average. I purchased Chloe sunglasses and eyewear in 2010, and it arrived within a month and a half. Which was what I was expecting because it is indicated when checking out. I love the sunglasses and optical lenses. They are my favorite pair. The aesthetics of this website is average, but has some pretty great deals.
