RetailMeNot is a wonderful money saver. One can register and browse for deals via app or website. Discounts up to 50% off are offered on anything from food to electronics. I use the app regularly and save big each time I use it. Just yesterday I brought a Papa John's large pizza for 40% off. Some other rivals to RetailMeNot make one jump through hoops just to save minimal or none in the end. RetailMeNot offers exactly what it states without any tricks. The only drawback is that some of the coupons may not work. Hints the four stars.

  • Audiomack

4/8/18

Audiomack is a wonderful website and app that offers free mixtapes to the masses. Clean interface on website and app allows on to navigate for their favorite artists, albums, and songs. What sets Audiomack apart from competition such as Datpiff and Live Mixtapes is that Audiomack offers different musical genres besides just Hip-hop and R&B. Audiomack has pop, reggae, and so much more. One can upgrade for $1.99 per month and enjoy the app without ads. For $2.99 per month one can enjoy the app with no ads and listen to higher quality of music with Wi-Fi.

  • HotNewHipHop

3/9/18

Site offers fresh hip hop news, songs, mixtapes, and much more. News is updated regularly to depict round the clock information. Best hip hop site around! Four stars because content matter can sometimes be questionable and grammar errors in articles can be found sometimes.

  • Independent

9/26/18

I read this news publication daily to get informed on international and national news. Unlike CNN or Fox news, The Independent presents the facts and nothing more. I find that many mainstream media outlets seem to tell the news through a political viewpoint. Independent is pure in the fact that it does not.

  • Tidal

6/19/18

I have been a member of Tidal for just a couple months now. Interface and app itself is not clean in look and navigation can get buggy at times. Music catalog is extensive. Tidal has music by artists that Spotify and Apple do not have. Easy to find music by lesser known artists. Customer service unfortunately is a joke. Sent email to customer service regarding my subscription. Response time was a week and half. Apple and Spotify respond within one or two business days. Furthermore, I have cancelled my subscription just to be charged $10 for the past couple of months. The matter has been resolved but not in a timely fashion. Apple music or Spotify is a better option. Meh!

  • LiveMixtapes.com

4/22/18

App offers Hip-hop and R&B music for free. One can stream or download music for free. What makes the app cool is the fact that it offers music one might not find on mainstream streaming services such as Apple music, Tidal, and Spotify. From an artist standpoint, it is hassle free and easy to navigate. Uploading is easy. Hints the five stars. No complaints!

  • iOffer

3/18/18

This site caters to people who want to buy products from overseas markets such as China and India. Items imitate famous brands such as Nike and Samsung. Prices are cheap because they are replica items. Nonetheless, experience depends on vendor. This site allows just about any vendor to sell merchandise. Thus, chose wisely! I have received fair quality merchandise for cheap prices in reasonable shipping time. I also have ordered product from this site and received nothing at all. IOffers' refund policy is catered to protect the company itself.

  • AliExpress

3/5/18

Decided to get Bluetooth headphones for recreational purposes. Delivery on headphones took about a month. Compared to other sites I have reviewed in the past this is a long time. Nonetheless, I received the headphones. The black headphones looked just as advertised. Instructions came with package. However, one Bluetooth headphone was audio functioning. Other headphone would pair to device but would not project any sound. Thus, I messaged vendor to inquire about problem. Vendor messages me back list of instructions, same instructions that came with package. Thus, I told vendor regardless of instructions both headphones fail to play. Vendor never responded back. Two stars were given instead of one star because of design of headphones. Buyer Beware!

  • SquareSpace

7/9/19

SquareSpace offers one the ability to make a website with the purpose of selling a good or product to customers. As opposed to other sites, SquareSpace is a little tricky to navigate. Price for SquareSpace services are higher than competition such as Weebly. However, SquareSpace offers a lot more features than most of the competition.

  • Chime

3/29/19

Chime is an alternative banking option one can get as opposed to traditional banking such as Wells Fargo. The qualifications for Chime Bank seem really chill. Meaning, almost anyone can obtain one. A few restrictions do apply. The bank account itself is displayed through the Chime app. One can open a checking and/or savings account with Chime. There are no fees ever. One can add funds to his or her account by direct deposit, money transfers, and loading green dot cards. Chime does not support cash atm deposits. This is a huge problem. Customer service is friendly and effective. There is no money required to open an account. No minimum one must have in the account at all times.

  • Freewebstore

4/22/18

Website allows one to create a fully functional online storefront for free. Granted, the number of products or services one can offer with the free edition is limited. Other limitations will apply as well but for the price of free it is still an asset for any up and coming entrepreneur. Simple interface allows average technology savvy people such as myself the power to create various storefronts without any prior formal training. No complaints!

  • Amazon Kindle

4/22/18

Amazon Kindle is my go to app for reading content on my cellphone, laptop, or tablet. Amazon has an amazing collection of literature that one can buy to read. With an Amazon Kindle Unlimited subscription for $9.99 per month, one can read great literature for basically free instead of paying to read each e book. The app itself is easy to download and navigate. No complaints!

  • AĆ©ropostale

4/22/18

Offers great quality clothing for affordable prices. Website is easy to navigate. Online deals are offered routinely. Shipping is fast and hassle free. Clothing itself is of excellent quality and stylish. Review would be five stars however I received some jeans that smell like sulfur. Washing and drying them does nothing but make your other clothes smell like sulfur. Other than that no complaints!

  • OverDrive

4/19/18

OverDrive works with local libraries throughout the United States to deliver loaned e-books right to your device of choice for FREE! One can loan most e-books for a duration of two weeks. OverDrive even lets one download the loaned e-book through Amazon Kindle for reading!

  • DatPiff

4/8/18

Back in the early 2000s, Datpiff was the website to get all the latest mixtapes for free. However, time changes everything. As of now, Datpiff still has the latest mixtapes for free. Problem is that the website and app are littered with ads. The website and app itself has a simple layout but it's difficult to click on anything without ads popping up. Competition such as Audiomack, Live Mixtapes, and Sound Cloud offer pretty much the same services without as many ads. From an artist standpoint, Datpiff is a nightmare. Uploading music is time consuming. Sponsored mixtapes can be removed without notice. Competition such as Audio Mack and Live Mixtapes are easier to deal with from an artist standpoint as well. Thus, no thanks!

  • Vitamin Shoppe

3/18/18

I have been ordering dietary supplements from the Vitamin Shoppe for awhile now. One can use their website to order or just walk in to a store near you. Personally, everything I order is either shipped to me in a timely fashion or is available for pickup at the nearest store. Four stars because the website definitely could use a face lift as navigating through it maybe tricky.

  • Domino's Pizza

3/17/18

Quality wise, Dominoes Pizza is nothing to write home to mother about. The ingredients such as the Italian sausage has been altered for the worst. I remember as a kid there was nothing greater than eating slices of Dominoes pepperoni and Italian sausage during football Sunday. However, now Dominoes has updated the mindset of quantity over quality. With cheaper prices and ingredients, Dominoes aspires to dominate the market with its bland pizza. The website itself is fairly easy to use. One can order pizza, chicken wings, and so much more. Dominoes has a tracker that will let one know the stage their order is in from reception to finished goods. Delivery is okay depending on where you are located. However, Papa John's seems like a better option to me unless one is on a budget.

  • Skullcandy

3/25/19

Recently purchased wireless ear buds from the website. The website itself is easy to navigate. Ordering from it is fairly simple. I had no problems with ordering or delivery. Delivery was free and only took about three days via UPS. Skull Candy does a great job of letting one know the stages one's order goes through from first ordered to delivery. The ear buds I purchased were only 20 dollars. The quality is okay. However, I have purchased ear buds from Skull Candy in the past that cost a lot more and sound better. Thus, one gets what he or she pays for. No complaints here!

  • Deezer

8/20/18

Deezer is a lesser known music streaming app. For $9.99 one can enjoy the service. Overall, it offers the same services that Apple Music, Spotify, and Tidal does. One difference is that Deezer does not offer concert tickets, music videos, and Twitter feeds of one's favorite artist. Music catalog is not extensive like Tidal's. However, Deezer's catalog is growing by the day. One main flaw of the app is that it can be buggy at times. Especially, when one is switching their device between different Wi-Fi networks. In conclusion, Deezer has a long way to go in order to be considered a music streaming giant like Amazon Music. Nonetheless, it's still an okay streaming service.

  • Spotify

6/19/18

I have been a premium member of Spotify off and on for the last couple of years. Interface is clean and app itself works well. Free account comes with too many restrictions for music lovers such as myself. Spotify's music catalog is very mainstream. Lesser known artists are rare. Hints the four stars. Dope app though!
