Lots of hype about the roses being SO fragrant, blah, blah, blah. I've found that they are NOT and that they also don't do as well as they advertise. I contacted Customer Service about which specific roses would do well in my area - well... not so much. And the fragrance? What fragrance? Roses are supposed to smell great - until we started screwing around with Mother Nature and bred the fragrance right out of them. David Austin roses are no different. No smell. And despite their insistance to the contrary, they do NOT do well in south Texas.

It's a good place to go and see what native Texas plants and flowers thrive in the heat/low moisture environment. Employees are helpful, and prices are fair.

I used to use them exclusively to fly to visit my son and his family about twice a year. Suddenly, I couldn't book a flight any more. It wasn't just that the flights suddenly doubled in price, but there was literally ZERO flights from ANYWHERE in Texas directly to Atlanta anymore. Not from San Antonio, not from Houston, not from Austin - NONE. Every flight out of Texas routed through either Denver or Las Vegas... and you had to wait overnight. So my regular 3 hour trip was now taking 24 hours - and costing me double to bring my dogs with me... plus the cost of a MOTEL for a night (AND a taxi back and forth). Will NEVER fly with them again.

Shiping is expected to be slow due to the handmade-to-order nature of the product. It is NOT ready-made, and thus should be expected to take a bit longer to ship. It is a wonderful product, and I would order again in a heartbeat!
