For the past 13 years every August we've been making a wine trip to Paso Robles. And w everyone's favorite stop is the San Antonio Winery. This year the organizer got a late night email on the eve of the trip from the mgr stating that the price of the tasting went up and we had to pay in advance before we did the tasting, and only one person could collect the cash to pay. Once inside the servers were rude & a little disrespectful. They only did 4 samples so we went out to the main floor to purchase wine etc. we asked to sample a new wine we were interested in and the mgr wanted us to pay for another tasting where another customer asked why are we paying, they had tasted several wines and hadn't paid. The mgr walked away and never came back, but the Male server let us sample what we were interested in with no comments or looks. This winery profits at least $2,000 or more every year from our party bus. I asked the mgr why they were being so rude to us, and all the last minute changes. We come every year and spend lots of money at this establishment. She said it was under new ownership & management. That has no bearing on how we were treated today, so we paid to be treated poorly. SAN Antonio was our first stop and it ruined the whole trip. WORST WINE TRIP EVER.
