Thanks for reaching out, we appreciate the feedback. I am sorry for the confusion here. We have recently implemented an optional extended warranty plan, which covers any malfunctions or damages to an item that happen outside of the standard manufacturer warranty.
We have put a lot of work into making the process as clear as possible for customers, giving them the option to select "Yes" or "No" to purchasing the extended guarantee during the checkout process. If you follow this link, you can see what it looks like: https://screencast.com/t/UyNPpgk5d
