Physician, photographer, and tech junkie
I can help people discover health care websites, consumer electronics, photography, and beauty sites
photography, health, MMOs, cooking, consumer electronics
Gary Fisher was one of the pioneers in the mountain biking world and also one of the first to start with the 29iners. You can check out all of the latest models on his website though usually it is a better deal to get last years model and unless they have made dramatic changes you can save some big $$$. People in the know definitely give you props for riding a Gary Fisher over one of the more mainstream brands, though Fisher bikes is now owned by Trek.
This is a magazine mostly meant for anti-aging physicians but it does have some very well written articles that the advanced consumer would find interesting. One of the magazines that I read every month to keep up to date on the latest anti-aging technologies.
This is one of those medical devices that you need to see and experience to really believe it. The basic premise is you lose inches off of your waist line without under going surgery. The technology is based on the erchonia laser which emulsifies fat and allows it to go into the interstitial space thus reducing inches off of your body and waistline. Anyone interested in body contouring procedures should watch this episode of the rachel ray show which features the zerona

Based upon the research conducted at Emory University, this website provides an evaluation for users to self test themselves to see if they possibly have the H1N1 flu. Great resource and people may want to take this evaluation if they are sick and concerned about the flu
Very useful site for everyone to read and learn about medical terminology as well as how to prevent diseases. Every day you can learn about a specific disease and you can receive that information via email, RSS or even twitter. As a physician myself, I appreciate the effort that it took to create this site and deliver medical information to the masses. Great job!
If you are looking for a compact camera for indoor photos, especially indoor portraits of babies/kids, the Sigma DP2 is perfect as it has a 35mm f2.8 fixed focal length lens which is a fast enough prime for artistic shots of family members. For more landscape type photos the DP1 is a better choice as it is a wider focal length and f4. Both blow away pretty much any other compact camera on the market right now. The sensor in this compact camera rivals that of pro level DSLRs, so the noise level is very low. Can't recommend this line of cameras enough.
Finally removable tattoo ink has been released and will be available. Currently if you get a tattoo, it takes anywhere from 5-20 treatments to completely remove the tattoo and even then it isn't always completely gone. Certain colors are especially difficult for us to remove. Now, Infiniti Ink along with the help of key pioneers in the laser industry have created an ink that can be removed in just a single laser treatment (requires a specific laser currently being developed by Candela). Now, you can get a tattoo and not fear the consequences if you change your mind down the road.
The American Academy of Anti-Aging Medicine is currently the only organization that approves physicians to practice anti-aging medicine. They have the most up-to-date information on anti-aging news and a directory of physicians who are certified by their organization. This site is a great resource for both patients and physicians who are interested in anti-aging medicine.
Great dentist and wonderful staff - Dr. Uyesugi has been my personal dentist for years and has an excellent staff and is a highly respected dentist. As a physician myself, I definitely appreciate his "bedside manner" in taking his time and carefully explaining all of his procedures. His top of the line technology is very evident throughout the office.
The definitive book on baseball literacy - Dave Martinez is one of the most well versed authors of baseball and he has a book called "The Book of Baseball Literacy" and I have spoken with the author and he has told me he has another book in the works, which is great for baseball fans out there.
I use infinityhost.com for all of my sites - They call it a budget / low cost hosting provider, but they really can scale up if needed. I have continued to use them because their control panel is so intuitive and easy to use. Would highly recommend it for anyone.
Cynergy won the microsoft PhizzPop Design Challenge - I saw Dave Wolf's presentation in SF at the web 2.0 expo and it was very impressive how this company won the microsoft contest to find the top industry leaders in design.
Much better than the original ambien - I tried the original ambien and sometimes woke up in the middle of the night, the new CR version is great for when you have to travel and change time zones. Just don't take it on the plane especially if you have to wake up in less than 7 hours. Might be useful on those long flights to Europe though.
Great magazine for HDTV enthusiasts - This is one of the better magazines for HDTV junkies. It has reviews of the latest HDTVs as well as furniture and other equipment to build a home theater. If you are thinking of installing a home theater, I'd recommend reading this magazine for a few months first before you buy and then decide on all of the equipment that you are going to get. You don't want to embark upon something like this blindly. Reading this magazine combined with reading tips from users posted online is the best way to build the perfect home theater.
Enter middle earth on the best online RPG - This game stays pretty true to the tolkien books and the movie; fans of the genre will be very happy with the accuracy.
It is not quite as polished as WoW, nor does it have any PVP aspect, but what it has is a stronger quest system and better storyline. The tradeoff is that nobody is quite sure how long LOTRO will last. Turbine had better keep cranking out quests and moving the plot along or subscribers will get bored.
The mecca for all geeks - I get lost in here for weeks at a time. They have the best return policy on the planet. If its broken, just return it. If you get tired of it, just return it. Just don't ever buy something that was returned even if its 10% off.
This is the website for pros - This has some of the best collection of photography knowledge on the net. Fred does a wonderful job staying current with new trends in photography. Somehow this site has collected some of the best photographers online.
First of all shipping was extremely fast and efficient. I even got email/test confirmation. I also like how each mask is individually packaged. I bought the KF94 masks for kids and they are a perfect fit, though I do tie the ends for my younger child. They are easy to breathe in for them and far more effective than cloth masks. I have purchased over a couple hundred for the school year.
These are some delicious cookies, we got a box for Christmas and our kids absolutely loved them. In fact, we are still enjoying them a month later. The variety is great and the mix ins were a huge hit. Will be ordering from them in the very near future.
I received one of their combo deals where you get a children's lightsaber as well as an adult lightsaber with the obsidian sound card. The smaller childrens lightsaber is great and actually cheaper than many of the lightsabers sold at toy stores. It is of higher quality and sturdier as well. For anyone buying a lightsaber for their child, I highly recommend it. For their real ultrasabers, I would highly recommend just going all out and getting the ones with the obsidian sound boards, flash on clash, etc. Odds are you will eventually end up buying more than one and you will want them to all have a similar sound. Shipping can take awhile depending on your order, so if you are planning on getting this before an event, order far in advance. These ultrasabers seem extremely study and have survived my children throwing them downstairs and wacking every object in sight. Now I just need to get one of those double bladed lightsabers...

My package came so fast and quick. My favorite lightsaber and now I bought another lightsaber again.
