I started using Groupon 2 summers ago (2015) when shopping through the Winter clearance items at the Sierra Trading Post and also some shopping at Battery Junction (Best place ever for handheld/portable lighting). Even though I was shopping through the clearance items at the Trading Post, the coupon codes I found on Groupon worked just fine ( OK, a couple didn't, but they had been posted for about a week already). I also found a nice one for Battery Junction, which is why I now check for savings at Groupon before shopping almost anywhere. I am actually impressed with how many stores they cover (I use just a few). One of the few real sites out there. Yeah I sound like a commercial. LOL, Enjoy... :)

After reading another review on this company, I wanted to be clear I am reporting on my experience in Denver, CO. Thanks. :) Delivery service for restaurants! The site allows you choose the type of Cuisine and it will then list the restaurant within your particular delivery area for a very reasonable fee. The drivers I have had so far are very nice and arrive within 5 minutes of the stated delivery time! My experience so far has been that my food arrives at a good serving temperature and is fresh although I did have a small problem getting the wrong beverage in my last order. Not a big deal, but still should have been right. I'm not going to knock off any points for that since it was in the middle of a busy Saturday night and as an Executive Chef with over 30 years of experience I know these things can happen even at the best places, with the best staff, during a busy Saturday Night Rush! I ordered at 8pm, on a Sat night which is the busiest time of night for most restaurants. My delivery time for the restaurant was stated as 55 min. They arrived right on time, and gave me a call to tell me they were on their way (although 1 time the call was to tell me that the restaurant did not have what I ordered due to a recent menu change, (Guess they forgot to update their online menus), and would I like something else. He said he would wait for it to be made and then deliver it, which is what ended up happening (he got a GOOD Tip). I think it's a wonderful app that does not charge a membership fee. Perfect for the nights you don't want to cook or have time to shop, cook and serve dinner and then all the cleanup at the end of your meal. Like bringing many types of cuisine from various restaurants right to your door in a timely manner. Even as a Chef there are nights I don't feel like doing any cooking at home.
In the end they are not perfect, but considering how many restaurants and types of cuisine they offer in many area's they do a great job. Lastly, Driver's come in all shapes, size's and personalities, so some area's may lack a large supply of qualified driver's for this type of job. Remember, they're meeting strangers at every stop so don't be offended if they don't want to be your instant friend. Who knows what type of delivery/customer they just came from. Perhaps i'm a bit sympathetic to the workers after spending 30+ years in Restaurant's with the last 25 being an Executive Chef.

I was going to download this extension as it seems to have many of the Olympic events that were not broadcast here in the States. I was very excited and it appears to be connected with Chrome. I went to download it and noticed in the number of users area it said 1 and there was no review and it had not been rated. Then I read the terms and when I got to the permissions it would have on my computer it advised me of some unsetteling things. It would have the ability to change my settings, Change my browser history, change what browser I was using at anytime, etc... I dont see the need for it to have these permissions. Well I wanted this badly as I am an Olympics Fan, so I did some more digging, and what I found strange is that I could find NOTHING on this site other then seeing the name in a websites review's, but there were never any reviews posted and again not even rated at any site where I could even find the site. Just seems very scketchy to me. BTW the only reason it has a star and now a review is because I put it there. Now I could be completly wrong, but 1 user (not me), no reviews other then mine, can't find much if any real info about the legitimacy of the site. I wish I could find another site that had as much content as this one protrays to have, but then again I have not really looked, thought I hit the jackpot with this site. AArrgghh! LOL It's up to you now to decide if you want to use the site. I am so tempted, but perhaps that what the operators were counting on, with the Olympics going on, and having to have a cable TV subscription to watch it live streaming ( I hear that was a mess many times), and they really just seemed to concentrated on Track and Field, Swimming and Vollyball, and I was watching it all day and night while it was broadcasting. But I digress. Like I said, it's up to you if you want to chance it, still, 1 user, 1 review (mine). Hmmmm
