How I Can Help

It’s difficult and expensive to start a small business. The reporting requirements can be overwhelming for a new owner. I’m retired so I have some free time that I would like to donate. I will help any small business startup to the best of my ability…for free. This is my way to pay it forward like someone did for me long ago.

Before I go into detail, I would say to any HOA Board looking for a company to manage their common area maintenance, you should skip Performance CAM at all costs!

A lot of people live in communities where they belong to an HOA, which probably means those people have had to have at least one interaction with the company hired to handle the Common Area Maintenance (CAM). This is a review of Performance CAM https://www.performance-cam.com/. I find it ironic, "Performance" indicates they actually "Perform" and that has not been my experience.

This however is my experience with Performace CAM. My endeavors started in June 2021. My HOA's meeting notes from June 2021 disclosed that our HOA's liability insurance would be close to an additional $18/mo. Primarily due to plumbing claims. The June notes also included a section entitled "Please, Please, Please" where the HOA requested residents/owners to report any plumbing issues right away. That paragraph didn't seem to make an impression on Martin Saxon, the Performance CAM manager assigned to my condo complex.

My first plumbing issue goes back more than a year. At the July 2021 HOA meeting Martin Saxon said a new plumbing cap would be installed that will alleviate situations where waste would empty into the downstairs unit's dishwashers and would result in fewer insurance claims. The plumbing cap Martin was talking about has been sitting on my patio wall where it was left over a year ago (see picture). I complained about it over and over and on 9/27/21 I received an email reply from Alyssa Smith (another assistant no longer there) where she stated the contractor and property manager would install the cap and yet the cap still sits on my patio wall, today is 7/21/22. Every time I emailed Martin's assistants about anything I found myself repeating the same things over and over because there was a new assistant every other month. This issue still hasn't been fixed.

Let's detail the most recent plumbing issue. On 5/13/22 I sent an email to Martin Saxon's assistant Nieosheia Conner about a leak in the ceiling (see attached pictures). Then I was told that Nieosheia Conner is no longer Martin's assistant and Martin only found out about the issue on 5/17/22. It's not my problem if their employees switch supervisors, there's no excuse as to why it took 4 days to get to Martin (to my knowledge Nieosheia still works there). To continue, Martin emailed me on May 17th to say I would be put on the plumber's list and he would get back to me. I sent a follow up email on 5/23/22 to get an estimated time of the plumbers arrival and received no response. On 5/25/22, very frustrated, I began forwarding all the previous emails to all the previous assistants of all the previous unresolved issues. It took sending a barrage of emails to get a response from another "new" assistant.

So, although plumbing issues have resulted in almost all our liability insurance claims Martin Saxon doesn't seem to be concerned about waiting 13+ days to even look at a leak. That extra 13 days allowed more mold to grow and more sewage to leak into my condo from the upstairs toilet. Yes, Martin Saxon allowed human waste to leak into my condo for an extra 13 days. This clearly demonstrates he and/or Performance CAM does not care about minimizing any potential losses for the HOA or the homeowners themselves. Even knowing full well that plumbing issues are the vast majority of our claims he chose to ignore my attempts to contact him until I started emailing everyone in the company to get a response. No HOA with qualified board members should ever choose to work with this company, they do not actively serve you or your owner's interests. You've been warned!

Before I get deep in to this I have a quick question. If you're going to buy a car at a dealership and you saw a stock photo of the car you want, when you got to the dealer would you expect to see the advertised car with dents and a missing fender? That's what you have to wonder about when you buy at Planet 13 Las Vegas.

Let me tell you about a recent incident. I was shopping for flower on their website like I have many times before. I was looking at one strain that seemed good to me so I ordered a quarter ounce to be delivered. As usual I got a call from them to verify my order and after talking to the person I changed my order to a half ounce in total. I opened the completely black bag (no way to see the actual buds when it was delivered) to find small brown buds that tasted like it was grown in a cat litter box. I checked the planet 13 website and there was a stock photo of the that strain and it was green and were decent sized buds.

I sent Planet 13 an email with pictures of the buds I received versus the pictures on their website. Apparently I should have realized somehow that their pictures are totally inaccurate. I was told that I should have told the budtender that I wanted green buds so it's my fault that I bought SMALL (no bigger than my pinky nail) BROWN buds. Planet 13 is not the only player in town and since I buy around $500/mo I want to go someplace where they don't treat me like an idiot. Whether you are a local or a visitor to Vegas nobody wants to be ripped off and then told it was their fault. Please get on Weedmaps and find another dispensary nearby.

I am attaching some pictures so you can judge for yourself if the stock photo was so far off from reality that it qualifies as false advertising. I also attached the ridiculous responses I received from them so you can judge for yourself how stupid they are. Honestly, at the end of the day if the store you use ripped you off for almost $200 would you keep going to them hoping you wouldn't get screwed again or would you find a new store. Just remember if they screw over a steady local customer that spent at least $500/month, screwing visitors is probably standard protocol, why take that chance…you've been warned, if you get ripped off then you have no one to blame but yourself.

Tip for consumers:
If you do decide to order/buy from them you’ll eventually get ripped off. There are too many factors involved for you to make a decision on every last characteristic of a strain which opens you up to getting ripped off.

Verified purchase

There are two things worth mentioning about the shortcomings of Infotracer. First, let's discuss the pricing. The initial report is sold to you for $3.95, seems reasonable especially if you only want one report. However, as I was trying to pay for the report a window pops up and informs you that there is more information available that is not provided in the $3.95 report. Presumably if you are going to take the time to check someone's background you're going to want the full report. Here's where it gets funky. The extra report will cost you an extra $18, a full 450% more than the initial report (classic bait and switch). To add insult to injury, by agreeing to the extra $18 you also "MUST" signup for a monthly subscription. At this point you might think "it cost more than I thought but at least now I have a complete report." Well, you'd be very wrong which brings me to the second point. I don't know how Infotracer gets it's info but it isn't complete or wholly accurate. The person I checked on had a bankruptcy but it didn't show up on Infotracer's report. They provide known alias' but then in the section for marriage and divorce they list names that were not given in the alias' list. That means that either or both lists are incomplete or outright wrong, I couldn't figure that out.

Final Note: use a different company if you want a complete and accurate report without the "bait and switch" price.

I'm probably not going to surprise you when I tell you that Latinfeels.com is just another dating site built to milk money out of lonely and sometimes desperate men. The marketing pitch is that there are no subscriptions and no monthly fees. Don't be fooled by that because you will pay far more to use this site than any I have seen. You have to buy credits to do anything, a text costs close to $1ea. As you can imagine the "person" you are chatting with only wants you to continue sending texts. If they send you a video that will cost you $20 to view. If you ask to set up a video call, to verify that you are chatting with who you think you are, you will be side-stepped and it will never happen. I wish I was writing to tell you just the opposite but again I'm sure you're not surprised. Good luck and keep the faith.

  • eHarmony

I am a male and this review is directly targeted at men contemplating using www.eHarmony.com as an online dating service. When you first visit the site, without being a member, you answer a few questions and the site tells you how many potential matches you have. The faces of these women are blurred and that should have been my first clue but I proceeded. Trust me, the faces beyond those blurry photos should stay blurred. Interesting to note that the age demographics of these women are overwhelmingly well over 50. If that's what you want this site is full of ugly and tired looking old ladies. If you're looking for anyone even slightly good looking you're at the wrong address.

11 states have realized that eHarmony is a rip off and now allow you to cancel your membership within 3 days. I live in Nevada and eHarmony has proudly let me know cancellation is not possible for me. The fact that eleven states found it necessary to regulate eHarmony for deceptive business practices leads me to believe they are crooked at best and predatory at worst. The 11 states where a refund is mandated are Arizona, California, Connecticut, Illinois, Iowa, Minnesota, New York, North Carolina, Ohio, Rhode Island and Wisconsin.

What about the cost? When you first inquire about a membership the full price is over $400. If you do not sign up you will receive several emails with additional discounts. In my case I only paid 50% of the initial price after waiting just a few days. So, even if you don't believe me about the inventory of ugly women you're still going to save yourself $200 if you just wait. I find it interesting that even eHarmony thinks their service isn't good enough for full price, again that should've clued me in to how bad their service is. On top of all the other crappy parts of their service, there are a significant number of profiles with no picture. I would remind eHarmony that they are not in the business of setting up a blind dates so including so many women without a picture is completely antithetical to the entire online dating structure. I've only had the membership for a few days but I won't be using this service! I'll try to sue to get my money back not because I care about the $200 but because I can then approach the proper government officials to codify the refund so as not to rip off the consumer going forward. If this review was helpful I would appreciate if you could click on the helpful box.

DO NOT USE eHARMONY, YOU WILL BE SORRY!

  • DealDash

4/5/20

What a scam! Let's start with the hook; DealDash does "sell" items at below MSRP. Now here's the part where they make their money; some of these "Auctions" can literally take days for an item to sell. Let's look at how it works, the price of an item goes up $0.01 every 10 seconds, that's $0.06/min but DD gets $1.20/min. Let's just use a full 24 hour sale. In 24 hours DD charges bid fees in the amount of $1,728 no matter who the bidders are. During that same period the "sales" price rose to only $86.40. An item that "sells" for $800 would take almost 10 days to complete the auction. In a real auction there are no bid fees so if someone bids higher it doesn't cost you a thing. That's a fair auction, DealDash is a variation of the well known Pyramid Scheme. Do the extra math, numbers do not lie.

DealDash -. – DealDash Rep

Hi Robert,

Thank you for your review, we’re sad to hear you feel this way.

As a penny auction website, DealDash is unlike other auction sites that you may be used to.

While we do operate on the pay-to-play model, where we differ from other penny auction platforms is that we offer the option to get your bids back.

On DealDash, bidders that don’t win the auction may purchase the same item for the MSRP retail value using Buy It Now—doing so gets you not only the item, but the bids used in the auction are returned to the bidder so that they may use them again in other auctions.

As well, we noticed that you are still eligible for our 90-day 100% Money Back Guarantee on your first bid pack, so we have refunded this for you and sent you an email with the refund details.

Our Support Team is on hand 24/7! We hope you’ll get in touch with any additional questions or concerns that you may have.
