Long time Mr. Porter customer and sadly they have been trending downward. Lots of overpriced casual clothing like designer T-shirts made of cotton and manufactured in China selling for $300-$500. They used to sell high quality value oriented clothing but now its just overpriced labels made in China, Romania, or Portugal.

They also used to find lesser know quality brands from Europe but its all LVMG stuff sadly...overpriced crap you can find at outlet stores for 60% off at the end of the season.

The misleading thing about Mr. Porter is they will lie about the country of manufacture it the item description. Bought a pair of Falke underwear which was stated as being manufactured in Germany but on delivery the label said made in Portugal. I have run into this issue many many times with them. BTW, when their description says 'imported' thats a euphemism for made in China.

Not a fan anymore.

Tried to purchase a watch online via their site. Movado cancelled the transaction with no explanation x 2, even though the credit card transactions charge went through without a hitch each time. When I called their customer service reps, it was the dumb and dumber show with a promise to call me back after researching the matter. Never called me back. Yeah...its no Amazon.

Purchased a Bally Chapman backpack for $775.00. Bloomingdale's website stated item was manufactured in Italy, only to find out that it was made in China!

Bought two HP toner cartridges from these people and both were defective, print was very light. They claimed the problem was with my printer! I purchased the correct cartridge direct from HP and the print was perfect. Still haggling with these people to try and get a refund. They're just middle men for other vendors so you can't ever get to the actual seller if there is a dispute. This place is no Amazon lol.

Credit card is charged long before item is even shipped and they will lie to you and claim the item has shipped when it hasn't. Very very slow to receive the goods. Another aggravating practice is to mark up items that the boutique they got it from had on sale. They won't price match either.

I ordered a pair of shoes, got a confirmation email and got charged on my credit card. A few...
