I am a CPA and have worked in the field of payroll and tax for over 40 years. Tax1099.com has terrible upload program instructions and even worse customer support. They were unable to address my issues and I was unable to have them process my 1099s for the 2020 tax year. As a result, I did not purchase their services and processed my clients' 1099s using another Web provider.
Tip for consumers:
Don't count on customer support to help you with any issues that crop up with using their software or uploading to their system. They keep requesting more info from you via e-mail, even though you have addressed the issues with them thoroughly in prior communications. They want to "appear" that they are helping you, but it is all bogus because they don't answer your specific questions to deal with your problems and issues directly.
