I signed up under a VA program for an MCSE upgrade. I was assured the course would be starting 'in a couple of weeks', but in order to get the benefit I had to start an 'Office' course. (They call themselves 'Caledonian', there classroom is in a Goodwill, wow...)
The course consisted of a half hour to an hour of a typing tutor that is freely available on the internet (Now I"m paying 125 buck a week for this?) while an incredibly ignorant uneducated 'instructor' prepared her 'lesson plan'. Which was an absolute joke, this girl tried to explain the simplest arithmetic and still couldn't get it right. They never started the MCSE coursework, lied and constantly tried to invoice for more than I owed. I was finally kicked out of class for correcting her foul mouth and mistakes one too many times. This school is a SHAM and a FRAUD! BTW, I went on to attend SMC as a CS Major and am currently on the Deans List.


Jacks n Joe on Figeuroa near USC is a great breakfast place. Best pancakes ever, top notch service, never an empty coffee cup. Gets busy as you might expect so go early.


I am a REAL tech, was hired by iYogi over a tech dispatch site I use. I went to a customers house as an iYogi 'tech'. The system had ALL services turned off (first time I'd ever seen that) and an obvious attempt at removing some spyware. I cleaned the machine and started the normal msft services. All was good (still it took awhile for a 45 buck call). The customer was happy, but guess what_ THEY DON"T PAY THE AMERICAN TECHS - It has been 2 months and still don't have the measly 45 bucks they owe me. These people are scammers, they are NOT real techs, just a bunch of script kiddie hackers playing on expired warranty service.

UPDATED: After nearly 3 months they finally paid me. Good riddance.
