The site "promises" to give the user up to three leads for movers. First they gave me a list of truck rentals in the state I specified with one moving company in another county over 50 miles from my zip and I believe there is a distinction between movers with services, or as they list it, "full services" and others that offer supplies, moving equipment and U-Hauls. Next, I filled out a questionaire that promises a number of companies will contact me...however the only company they listed was in another state (2) over from mine. The form they use should allow the customer to indicate what services they want, for example: packing, storage in addition to just moving and therefore the "from" and "to" indicators for the move would or should be adjusted. The name of the site is so spot on, an actual Guru but this is quite far from what one would expect from a guru. Too bad, a big disappointment.
The Khols shopping site is VERY friendly that my great grandmother could navigate. The pictures are right on, you can zoom and roll over, the colors ot the products are spot on, the check out is quick, secure and gives you the opportunity to either change your mind, add on or hold it. I don't rec. holding as the items go fast. Their sales and money saving campaigns let the customer know they really have a handle on the current economic climate. PLUS there's a real live person you have access to if needed. The shipping time is accurate and reasonable. They also have their own customer reviews and are interested in customer satisfaction. So far, 3 years, the items I've purchased through Khols have worn well and receive a lot of compliments. Some items I highly rec. are the NutriBullet, and Chaps Sleepwear~comfy :-)
For the past two years I've been negotiating with at&t to try to get them to realize, understand, that seniors simply can't afford their prices. The services they offer and what they charge are not reasonable for us aarp-ers who have minimal usage. Finally I got a real letter from, what I though, was someone who could take charge and actually initiate a viable campaign for seniors. It turned out to be just an email associate who could not make any decisions, except to offer me to sign up for a FEE!
I've been a customer of AT&T for many years and they want me to pay a fee to start what I already have! They are being short sighted because they can afford to corner this age group with the very best package. But they are being petty. They don't seem to care that millions are coming of age and switching to Vontage, Consumer Cellular, etc., or other AARP rec. wireless. I don't see any ads for AT&T in the AARP circulars. I tried to help them get some insight into the market and they treated me as if I were insignicant, big mistake.
They invest their profits in Sales, Collections and CEO salaries. They can't listen to customers and are unable to acknowledge new ideas.
Horrible and depressing. First I was "matched" with people in my immediate community and it was very clear that AARP took nothing about my cultural, educational or preferences to consider my matches. Then when I gave them feedback about this, as I am not "married" to where I live, then I was "matched" for a "date" with out of state men, some clear across the country, The message I got was that there was NO one available near me to consider. Also the feedback or how are we doing is not friendly and I get the impression that they really don't want feedback, otherwise they want money.

It seemed that no one really hurried when seeing my order placed. Anyways I was quite satisfied...
