I called LIberty Mutual to change my Snowmobile coverage to off season coverage since the snowmobiles will be in storage for the summer. All I need is comprehensive, and asked to drop the liability, and collision while in storage. I called in March for the coverage change. They sent me a form to fill out, which I promptly filled out and sent to LM. I assumed it was taken care of, but the next month they automatically withdraw the full coverage premium from my checking account. I called again in early May, the phone representative said the coverage had not changed, and to resubmit the storage form, which I immediately emailed to them. Now it's late May, and I called again to make sure it was taken care of. The representative told me they can't change coverage in the middle of a policy period. That explanation makes no sense, people make coverage changes to their policy's all the time. 1)LM is telling me I'm required to carry, and pay for full coverage for insurance I don't need. 2) LM has poor customer service, they should have contacted me if there was a problem with my request. 3) I'll be filing a complaint with my states insurance commissioner. If that doesn't give me results, I'll cancel all coverage with LM. This is a good example why people have low opinions of insurance companies.

Updating my review of Corvette Mods. I filed a complaint with the BBB. The BBB contacted Corvette Mods and quickly resolved the issue. I didn't receive an in store credit, but received a better outcome of a full refund to my credit card from Corvette Mods. The refund came promptly within a couple days of contact by the BBB. I'm raising my Corvette Mods rating to a 2 since I did receive a refund. If I was rating the BBB of Texas, they would get a 5 excellent.

Terrible return process & terrible customer service

Purchased a jacket, which I received in a reasonable amount of time. It didn't fit so requested a return. This is where dealing with Corvette Mods has become a terrible experience. A simple return has become a 10 week nightmare, where I still have not received a credit. Before you can request a return you have to open an account on there returns web page and request a return there. If you don't return an item in a specific time frame they will only offer a store credit. I was past the time for the full credit so two weeks after my full credit request I received a rejection notice, I was required to submit another request for store credit. Another week passed, then I received approval to return the item. I sent it back immediately, Corvette Mods signed for the return February 22. It's now 8 weeks later, no credit. I have called their customer service several times, and have emailed them, but still no credit. I filed a complaint with the BBB, maybe they can get some results. Unfortunately if I do receive the in store credit, I'll have to buy from them again, but it will be the last time I ever buy from Corvette Mods.
