Photography website creation--expensive - I went with this company and while they did a good job, I did see a friend of mine use a different service which was about 1/2 the price and probably just as good and if not even better. This is the company he used, I don't think anyone here on sitejabber has reviewed it yet, but they are much cheaper and his site looks great

You guys should be paying for photoshop, not getting illegal copies - Without $$$ adobe can't continue to exist and it is software pirates like you guys that ruin companies.

Having said that... I just love my free adobe photoshop CS3...: P
Kudos to Limewire for saving me $$$

Not as good as flickr for photo printing and sharing - Flickr is probably the best photo sharing site out there right now and almost everyone I know has a flickr account. So, I share most of my photos through flickr. Now that they are offering printing services I just use flickr for that as well. I used to use shutterfly and haven't noticed any quality difference between the two companies, so my 2 cents is just to use flickr for everything.

  • Platial

Social mapping goes mainstream on cell phones - I have been using platial on and off for awhile on the internet, but now that I can use it on my cell phone it has become much more useful. You can be walking around and see if anyone has made any comments on a nearby coffee shop or store. It is pretty fun to use, but it only seem to be useful in larger cities. If you take a look at most of the US it is pretty useless. In larger cities it is pretty fun and useful

If you need a quick cookie recipe, go here - Before a long night of getting the munchies, this is my favorite site to go to for new recipes to feed the party.

Just found a place on this site - I have been looking for a summer rental and thanks to this post I think I found one. Great site, much better than going on craigslist.

  • Bluehost

My favorite web hosting provider is bluehost - I have tried many other hosting options including one's like godaddy and verio, but after reading reviews of web hosting companies, it seemed like everyone really liked bluehost. They cheap, they have free domain name registration forever, great support, dedicated IP, and support all of the code that I need. I think pretty much everyone should be using them and I see no reason to go to other companies for hosting anymore. Plus, I have never really noticed any downtime from them.

  • Charge.com

My experience on charge.com was not good. - Their first scam is, each application is automatically approved. That should be a heads up that this is a bad business. The second scam is you say what your sales will be and if you want MC or Visa. And then somehow automatically you are taking AMEX and JCB and discover, and paying that AMEX fee. Then when you want to terminate because of their non existant customer support, it costs you $300 to leave (and that is why there is no set up fee). All they have is a good domain name.

  • Authorize

Frustrated with authorize.net upgrade to its payment gateway merchant software - I am so frustrated with this switch to the new version of their software. How they implemented it is ridiculous authorize.net offers you a gateway for your transactions, but it is up to you to figure out how to connect to it- with limited examples, and support. And, their tech support guy isn't that good either. Though I'll admit before their recent upgrade it was working fine and now I can't get it to work. If anyone knows of a better system please let me know.

  • A Clean Slate

Sorta like google desktop apps - I tried this out and it is actually not that bad. The only problem is that google apps is better. This company might have been more successful if they had made this a little earlier and got better adoption. The portable MP3 player is a nice touch though and it is nice to have access to your files. Though now I just send them to myself in gmail as attachments, so not sure if this company will continue with google taking over their vision.
