Got a cold call offering discounts at major stores.
Card arrived well after expiry date of trial period.
Called number on accompanying letter. Waited on queue system and eventually got answered by Mari. Went through cancellation process. Difficult, she was working from home and the phone line was intermittent. Apparently her computer was running slowly.
When I asked to be sure no money was taken from my account, I was divert to another line. More waiting listening to rubbish music, eventually I was answered by Danielle of customer services who listened to my problem, and basically wanted me to call the department I had just been shunted away from! Why would I want to go back to be shunted off again?
I still don't know if I have been charge a membership fee.
Trading Standards need to talk to this company. Customer Care seems to be couldn't Care Less.
