Was looking for an aftermarket gps unit for my 2018 Hyundai Santa Fe. Found Car GPS Expert Store (CGES) on Aliexpress and got a good conversation going with their rep Emily ( mary) HU.
I ordered top of the range Android 10 4+64 PX6 with carplay with built in maps of New Zealand with lifetime free upgrades. Was told they would upgrade the screen from a 1024*600 to a 1280 *720 free of charge. Ordered set of internal tire pressure monitors and an OBD2 unit. 4g. One specification was that the unit must be able to access my existing rear view camera

Yes, the camera plug is in the package for you.
For the 4G SIM slot, it built in the headunit.

Quoted and paid US$486 (nz $720) for the unit. It took about 8days and arrived very well packaged.
Once opened the first thing wrong was they send "external sensors" for the tpms NOT internal as ordered and it had a vital part missing!
Plugged in and ran a few tests -resolution was 1024 x 600. The processor was PX5 NOT PX6 No 4 g dongle or sim card slot.
OBD2 didnt work on my vehicle as is a diesel engine. She was told this and assured it would work. After it was sent she wrote "This one can't support for Diesel or Trucks".
Any way i contacted them and showed them screen shots of processor and screen resolution they just kept coming back saying it is 1280 *720 even though they saw the diagnostic views and anyway the px5 is a good processor. Despite the fact i ordered the newer powerful PX6 version.
CGES "Ok, we will send to you asap, and the screen 1280*720 HD for you"

When it arrived i sent:" the tpms are the external type Not internal. They will need changing "
CGES " no need the external type of TPMS? Let me confirm with warehouse, reply you soon."
Me "where does the sim card fit to get the 4G "
CGES " This product built in WIFI, no the 4G SIM slot, Sir" " the 4+128GB version can not built in 4G SIM slot,"
I then escalated to Paypal as a claim. They came back with " they will refund all if you pay postage back to them"
I sent it at a cost of $120 NZD and tracked it to china. I believe it has been refused to be delivered, go figure. Ill keep you informed how this pans out,
Look at the photos below of the staff first is company called ZWNAV, second Aotsr, third TPXINXIN, fourth MOOKAKA as you can see they changed the sign on the wall but the same people are in the pics AND the plant top right is the same. The last 2 are obviously the same backgrounds. A bit of photoshop and Develuck becomes JMCQ i suspect they may be part of the same company

This transaction was typical china they promise you the top of the range -they send whatever they want- sometimes nothing-you have to pay to return it so most people just accept the wrong thing. I will keep this updated with how the shipping went. Etc. Thanks and beware

Im a paraplegic and needed a hoist to lower me into the pool.
Dongguan Auwda Pool Equipment Co., Ltd quoted me nz$5000 which was reasonable price. All stainless steel so wouldn't rust outside. Very helpful sales rep "Coco" ( if that is her name). Item was shipped and arrived in a good time. I asked and got some photos whilst it was being manufactured. Must admit looked like a dad & Dave backyard operation but the product looked. Goo. It arrived some hold down bolts missing. They paid to get new ones.

10 month in the actuator stopped working. Pulled to pieces and discovered the whole unit was rusted up/ obliviously wasnt intended for outdoor use. Sent photos etc. no reply for weeks. Manager Allen Tse was not helpful. He decided that i would have to pay for a new piece that was waterproof ( another $476) he comes up with
"You can buy what you pay for. If you want to get better, don't you need to pay more money?"
"We can try to customize a new and better putter, but this is beyond our guarantee. The new putter is 476 USD"
"You don't pay, you can only get cheap, you want the best, and don't pay, how can it be?"
And his best on yet
"say you ordered one apple, it is bad, we can give you an other apple, but if you need give you pear, that's different price,"
he basically says that i brought cheap product so i should expect cheap parts. Whatsoever happened to "fit for purpose "
Beware this company is a bad one. I have brought container loads of product from china and this is my worst experience. Of course as i didn't notice the product failure till after 10 months ( silly me) Alibaba have no claim process after this time.
I really need the product as the heat from the pool helps spasms and pain.
Anyway im not paying him a cent and hope bad feedback may make him change his practices.
