07/31/17 - When I had problems moving files around, I checked and found MB had locked up 28,345 files on my computer, including 10,000 locks on one file alone! I found other users complaining since 06/20/17 on their forum. When are they going to do something about this?

You can temporarily fix the problem for yourself like this:
Net stop MBAMService
Net start MBAMService

I not only saw the spurious locking on my Win 7 machine, but also on my wife's Win 10 machine. Now it is Aug 22,2017 and they still have not done anything. No wonder I see so many negative reviews on the Internet.
