RE: 1 star review from criminal customer being used against me.
I am a Dasher with a 5.0 rating with 100% delivery stats. So I take GREAT offense that a customer yesterday lied to you in order to get a refund on her order and then gave me 1 star, and even GREATER offense that you claim that her "customer experience" cannot be negated and that my perfect rating has dropped and I am being financially penalized as a result. Unacceptable, and frankly pathetic.
The aforementioned customer ordered a child's meal from chick-fil-a to be delivered several cities away into the most dangerous part of my region and paid a delivery fee that exceeded the value of her child's meal. Suspicious? Yes. Should have been flagged so I was protected YES!. I should have known it was a fraud and in the future (including tonight) I will reject every order that comes from the slums of Los Angeles -- not only for my safety but because EVERY TIME they are either a set-up to mug me, or they are a fraud like in this case.
So, this customer gave me 1-star for "not delivering her order" but your spokesperson on the phone VERIFIED THAT I DID DELIVER IT! So she lied. And DoorDash acknowledges it.The customer demanded a refund from DoorDash and you gave it to her. As your spokesperson said, I DID DELIVER THE ORDER! But you won't redact her lying 1 star review and ARE USING IT AGAINST ME? Huh?
You say you refuse to delete her fraudulent 1-star review because "it was based on her customer experience." That's like saying the person who robbed the 7 Eleven gave a 1 star review and you are going to penalize the manager. It's gross.
WHAT DIFFERENCE does it make what her "EXPERIENCE" was when she LIED about the order not being delivered -- and furthermore, it's proven that this customer never meant to pay for it in the first place as there are MANY chick-fil-a restaurants closer than mine in Redondo Beach. The order was a fraud. She was a fraud. And she was possibly setting me up to be mugged as I remember that she had a lookout in the alley paying close attention to me and my car as I walked up to her decrepit apartment to deliver it 7 miles from the restaurant.
I will give DoorDash a big hint: When a customer orders a $4.99 kid's meal from a national chain and wants it delivered from the best neighborhood in the SouthBay to the worst neighborhood in Los Angeles, your Algorithms need to Flag it as fraud and BAN THE CUSTOMER! (Not penalize to poor sucker you accepts the Dash).
By DoorDash's own data and your own admission, this customer is a proven liar and criminal, so therefore I DEMAND that you retract her 1 star rating or I will no longer be willing to "Dash" for your company.
HOW DARE YOU use proven fraud against me to penalize me?
DELETE this customer's 1-star rating at once.
And, by the way on a broader note and one that exposes DoorDash, to massive liability --- STOP sending Dashers across town to the most dangerous neighborhoods in Los Angeles when every single time they are questionable and put the Dasher in Danger.I'm talking about Watts, Willowbrook, and Deep Los Angeles being delivered from good neighborhoods like Manhattan Beach. NOBODY would be willing to be twice the price of a happy meal to have food delivered across 4 cities. Don't you realize the danger you are putting your employees into? Obviously it is a fraud. You should protect your employees, not send them to harm. And, DoorDash stands warned by this email that you are putting your employee drivers at risk and then harm them by then using these criminal's ratings against Perfect Dashers like myself.
FIX THE DAMN PROBLEM AND RETURN MY RATING TO 5 STARS.
Thank you

Oh, and by the way DASHERS SHOULD BE ABLE TO REVIEW CUSTOMERS! Fair is fair, and you have FAR MORE data on US than them. That customer should never be allowed to order from DoorDash again. She is a proven liar by your own admission and proof.
If you don't get it, another delivery service will, and we will simply work for THEM, door dash.
