Liberty Mutual sent me all of my policy renewals with letters thanking me for being with them for over 17 years and then proceeded to charge me more than any other company. What a way to say thank you..huh?????????




Doesn't any of these cable companies know how to tell the truth? They quote you a price and then lo and behold they find a reason to raise it on you because somehow there was a misquote somewhere along the line (of course it is always in their favor) It is mind boggling that the public service cannot intervene or that there is no government authority to control this blatant "bait and switch" practice. If you search on the internet you will see the rampant reports of people getting ripped off by these companies and I myself have first hand experience by both time warner and the infamous Verizon. I don't know why there isn't more of a public outcry. Come on everyone..... speak up when you are taken advantage of...don't let these people get over on us. Make them give us what they promise!




staples claims they will match any advertised price but watch them squirm when you call them on it! Saw an advertisement at best buy but when they checked they said it was a "special" type sale and they don't match special sales....just regular sales. Figure that one out!!!!!




Couldn't do without this site. It's the go to one to find out what you want to know about every facet of a property. Of course some opinions you have to take with a grain of salt but on a whole you can get a real feel for the good and bad for any location. Love it, love it, love it!




I don't know how they get away with it but, Verizon has an ongoing history of quoting a price and then down the road a bit (when they think no one is looking) it seems they suddenly increase your fees and send you this bit of information either in an email which no one ever reads or puts a note on your bill which most people don't even see (which is what they count on) especially if you are on auto pay. This has happened to me more than once and when I ask how do you quote a price for a two year contract and then all of a sudden find you "made a mistake" which of course is always in their favor. When faced with this (the second time I will have you know) they said they could not honor the quote and the only thing they would do would be to let me out of the contract that they just raised $50.00. I called the public service commission and have notified the attorney general but after looking online I find that mine is not an isolated incident. Verizon is infamous for their bait and switch tactics and I cannot understand how this continues to go on.
Hopefully, others will speak up and maybe with a little of public outcry this practice will cease.
