I wrote initially that I could not use this company because of the anti-American commentary on a few of the demos. I contacted the CEO of TemplateMonster and he responded quickly and removed the offensive narrative. I am extremely impressed with his business acumen and as stated in our correspondence, will return to the site for my future template purchases. Highly recommend doing business with a company that is sensitive in this political environment. I don't doubt that there is similar commentary on other templates because of the scope of authors and teams around the world, however, his quick response to this situation has restored my trust in his ethics.

Love the Templates -- Hate the Insults*Edited after Review

Found a couple of beautiful templates to use and spent productive time with a chat agent. Researched reviews of TemplateMonster and liked what I saw. Would love to purchase a couple of the templates but at least one of the demos was so stunningly insulting I just can't push the go button. I'm not clear on how the 'in-house' design teams would sacrifice their employer's reputation for a chance to express personal political beliefs. Makes me nervous that they'd compromise ethics and values elsewhere. Will put the word out to my webmaster friends.****I reviewed the template again and as I got deeper into the product I discovered a host of anti-American sentiment. I am assuming by the text included that the "in-house" team is not located in the United States. I simply cannot support a company that hates America. "Trump has launched an uprising of the indecent, one that is now much bigger than he himself, a popular movement of white, conservative America that after eight years under ConLiberal President Barack Obama, yearns for a leader who will usher in the counter-revolution."

Dear Rebecca,

Please accept our deepest apologies for the inconvenience. Lately we became a marketplace and accept web templates from authors located all over the world now, however the products they supply should not contain such abusive content, as stated in the Vendor Agreement:

(Clause 7. PROHIBITED ACTIVITIES. Recital (b)
Uploading, posting, emailing or otherwise transmitting any submissions or other content that is unlawful, harmful, threatening, abusive, harassing, degrading, tortious, libelous, slanderous or otherwise defamatory, vulgar, obscene, pornographic, invasive of another’s privacy, hateful, or racially, ethnically or otherwise objectionable;

Please let us know item IDs (numbers) of those templates you find to be abuse so we could investigate the situation and take required actions. Thank you.

Looking for a site to review various online cannabis/hemp products and stumbled onto this site. I don't mean literally stumbled, I don't smoke the stuff. I barely drink, which might explain the painful burr up my arse.

Either way, this site looks a little, shall we say, homegrown? Not that that makes the information found there incorrect but how, exactly, does a person know?

The reviews are hardly science based, at least as far as I can tell. I'm no scientist, that's for sure, but I don't see any reference to any testing done on any products reviewed and the reviews themselves are short and based on the reviewed product's website.

So really, the creator of cbd oil review dot org appears to be a handy person who searched all the cbd oil websites and listed them all with a synopsis of what the reviewed website lists as their selling points. That's handy I guess but again, who knows what the truth is? I don't.

Still, the handy creator of the site is pretty clever and the website idea is good. If only we knew the truth about it all.

Apparently I've been a member for a few years now but didn't know about it until yesterday. The site looked, at first, like a fun place to write and review the work of other writers but I seem to have stumbled into the elementary school section and can't find my way out. The stories I'm reading are about puppies, teenage angst and poetry about how life sucks now (but it didn't always). The reviews amount to nothing more than obnoxious graphics with rainbow colored emoticons and breathless reviewers praising the writer with profound perspectives such as: "I love this story so much! Thanks for saying what I would have said if I had only thought of it!" Anyway, I'm giving it a few more days but the complicated layout and busy, noisy graphics are not conducive to the hard work of writing. The site's been around for awhile so it must work for some people.

**Update** I'm quite sure now that I don't have any use for Writing.com. It apparently serves the needs of many 'writers' but it doesn't serve my needs. It's just for kids really.
