I don't usually write reviews about companies and their service, despite the lack thereof, but Pre-Employ.com rubbed me in an oh so special way. I requested a background check from Pre-Employ on Tuesday the 25th and promised the report would be made available within 3-5 business days. After five business days I called and requested the background check, they supplied me with an excuse and promised I would have it within 24 hours... I did not.
Finally, after eight business days (ten calendar days) I give up and request a refund. Not two hours after my call, I get a callback from the company informing me that they have sent me my requested background check. I check my email, nothing there. I tell them they are misinformed and that I would like my refund. The lady refused and resent an email granting me access to my background check. At 5:26 pm PST I receive an email confirmation resetting my password. I explain to the nice lady that the services were not provided in the time period I was promised and with this being a time sensitive issue I would not pay for information which was no longer necessary. She once again refused my request for a refund and we arrive at the point we are at now... one disgruntled customer, who will never use this companies service again, and with any luck neither will any of you, and Pre-Employ.com, who, despite their insistence they would not be providing me with a refund, has just lost the $60 I paid them since my credit card company took care of the refund for me and will dispute the charge on my behalf.
