I bought the 2-in-1 curling and straightening iron from Wonderfame for Christmas. I received it damaged. The heat plate and barrel have chips that are sharp. I noticed the issue as soon as it was unboxed by the recipient. I contacted Wonderfame and wanted to know about an exchange since I received a "new" item that was damaged. They asked for photos and said they would be willing to exchange the item. I provided the photos and showed that the item was still in it's original packaging and not used.

Once I sent the photos, customer service replied and said that since the item is used and not defective, they would only give me a 30% refund. I replied and asked them about the change in policy since they said they would issue an exchange versus me returning the item since they are in China. I re-iterated to them that I did not use the item, I haven't even plugged it in once I noticed the damage. They argued that the item was damaged and not defective and would not exchange it, nor offer me a full refund. The most they would offer is a 50% refund so that I would not have to pay for shipping charges to China (they do not offer return shipping).

Needless to say, I'm stuck with a defective curling iron that was not manufactured properly. Their website is full of FAKE 5-star reviews. I even tried posting a review several times and it never showed up on their website. This company is a rip-off and they will steal your money. Do not buy ANYTHING from them. I attached the original photos that I sent them.
