I set up an order online for them to reserve an item for me on December 9th. The website stated the item would arrive December 17th and I would receive a reminder text to pick it up. I even got a confirmation number. It also said I could pay in cash and they would hold it for me for 7 days. I got no notification whatsoever.
I show up today on the 18th to pay and pick it up and the employees are baffled by what I told them. The manager didn't know anything about it either. They take me to customer service and are able to bring up the order but it had been cancelled on the 9th. Yes. The same day I set up the order. Considering it was 8:00 at night when I first set up the order, that leads me to believe it was cancelled immediately.
I asked if they had this item in stock and they said no. Customer service tells me I have to set it up and pay online. Which, you know, contradicts everything the website stated. Unbelievable. Thanks for nothing Wal Mart!
