The plumbers took much longer to come than promised. The most annoying part was that in the meantime, Rightio kept calling me to offer deals on service contracts. I responded by telling them to concentrate on getting me a plumber instead of trying to sell me a contract. The plumbers eventually arrived and decided they couldn't mend the broken pipe (a cable guy had drilled through it) because they did not have the correct gauge pipe with them. So I had to spend the night without central heating. They returned next morning with the correct pipe, which they fitted. Now they had to re-install the radiator which they had removed to do the job. They did so, but could not get the central heating to work. Eventually, the young man working on (and failing to get working) the central heating said, "It's doin' me 'ead in" and walked out! So, a second night without heating, with them insisting the job was done and me insisting it wasn't, because they had left me with non-functional central heating which had been functioning perfectly before. They got very threatening and I caved in and authorized payment (£548.40 for replacing a few inches of pipe and disabling my central heating in the process). Next day, I contacted another engineer to get my central heating working and he did so, promptly and effectively. Really, you should steer clear of Rightio.
