I don't like myseniorcareguide, I think they just take referral fees for sending people to any old senior transportation service. I wouldn't trust any of the information from their site. You're better off doing your own research or calling your local Administration on Aging.

Easter Seals is such a wonderful organization. They run the National Center on Senior Transportation (NCST) and have been doing a lot to increase the access seniors have to transportation options with funding from the US Department of Transportation. This site has a lot of information on different senior transportation issues.

I used Silver Ride to pick up my dad to take him to the senior center by his house and to go to the grocery store. Silver Ride has been a life saver. There isn't really other easy way for seniors to get around unless there is a local free service or you put them in a taxi. Silver Ride is better (unless there is a free option).
