Aldi is a small grocery store, small enough to be efficient for customer. You can get in and out without having to walk 6 miles of store. Their carts are customer returned by the. 25c deposit system which saves the store the expense of additional employees, these saving are passed on in their pricing. A lot of "store brands" are also cost effective. In a world where most try to be all things to everyone it is refreshing to see a brand focus on the simple clear mission - be a great grocery.

To whom it may concern,

Yext has multiple methods in marketing their service, and multiple joint venture partners, one of them that I believe causes confusion is the automated process that claims 'correct this all listings by just filling out this form' only to collect your information as a sales lead. After you give them your data they do not correct that listing or any listing unless you join their system.

This seems misleading, sadly a lot of advertising and marketing now days seems that way, and it did for me when I spent months trying to correct my business listings by myself, only to repeatedly be directed to another Yext Sales Page. Many sites use Yext as a way to verify company information and receive a small fee from the Yext monthly service charge. These sites trust this as the correct information as the individual Business are paying either a annul or monthly fee to promote the correct information.

Again I tried to fix these without Yext, I had to navigate each of these 50 sites processes to insure they all delivered the same information, only to find out it was a never ending task as old data, or information from customers, phone-books, and/or competitors constantly was confusing the issue.

I have since made it my mission to understand their process and I have CHANGED MY MIND. Yext offers a dashboard where you can control the information delivered to many of the pages that will effect your website placement in the search results. It on a ongoing monthly basis delivers your corrected or updated data. It also allows an upgraded or enhanced listings on most of those same sites. You can purchase this individually from most of those pages from $5 on up, each per month per site. Times the 50 sites is cost prohibitive. Yext allows you this control of your information at a much reduced rate and gives you the enhanced listings.

Yext by itself should not be your whole SEO solution but it should be one of your mainstays. However I believe you need access to your agent to review your listings and help you use all the functions Yext has to offer. Just signing up on a online form and spending hundreds of dollars will not fix your issues. Your need someone to walk you through the ongoing process, and while they promote it as an almost instant cure to all problems its not.

Is it worth it? Only if you have access to someone to help you correct the issues that pop up, remember you are linking together over 50 different web companies, something will not go through or post correctly and should be reviewed weekly until fixed and then monthly to catch any wrong info that pops up.

Yext's centralize dashboard wonderful for that, no need to log into 50 different sites to insure they are still delivering the correct info. Just one sign-in with links to the sites. Correct or change info in one location and it populates across the 50. (most of the time) or shows the one not correcting. A note to your agent/SUPPORT and usually within 1 day FIXED. I now use Yext and recommend it.

Yext P. – Yext Rep

Hi Patrick. Thanks for your comments. I searched through our system and I don't see an account matching any of the information that you provided above, meaning that we actually do not have your information and we are not delivering it to any sites. Yext is a third party software that allows business owners to claim and update their listings, and manage all of them from one place while also enhancing them. Yext is a paid service, however, electing to use the Yext service is completely up to the business owner, as the business owner is always free to go to each local search site and make updates directly. This method frequently takes much longer, which is one of the many reasons why we have created our service. If you would like more information about what we do, or would like a list of public contact information that we have for our publishers to see about having updates done through the sites directly, please feel free to reach out to Yext Support by e-mail at support@yext.com. Thanks for bringing this to our concern and we wish you the best of luck in updating your information.
