American Express does not take care of their customers needs. My company has been in business for over 30 years and we have been with AMEX for a large portion of that time. We have never missed or made a late payment and furthermore pay in full each month. During the pandemic our revenue dipped as did everyone's. They dropped my credit limit from $300K to $38K severely stifling my cash flow. After talking with them and proving to them that I had a renewed line of credit, a $4.2M dollar bond in place, and several signed large contracts, they wouldn't budge. I am forced to find other options. AMEX doesn't care about my business nor do they care about the years of loyalty that I have given to them. Do not trust them. They do not have your back.

I purchased a Washer and Dryer from Appliances Connection in August 2020. By December I had still not received it. I kept being told that they had not received any from the manufacturer. Finally in mid December I was told the dryer was in but not the washer. I kept asking to speak to someone up the food chain as everyone I spoke to said there was nothing they could do. I finally spoke to a manager who I proposed the idea of splitting the difference of the cost of an upgrade on the washer as they had that one in stock. The upgrade would be $437.16 thus being $218.58 each. At first he told me no and that this whole situation was not his problem. I told him it was his problem as he sold me the washing machine and that I would be forced to give him a bad review since he refuse to help or take any responsibility. He then basically told me that he was cancelling my order and go somewhere else. He knew I didn't want to go anywhere else because I had got a really good deal on the set. After, talking a bit he agreed to upgrade me for $300.00. I was immediately sent an invoice for an upgrade for $300 which included sales tax of $137.16 on an out of state sale. My original invoice had no sales tax on it. I immediately tried to call back and every time I called in I was hung up on. I emailed in and told them they were not authorized to charge my card the $137.16. They never answered me. Next thing I know the washer and dryer shows up. Once the washer and dryer shows up two weeks later, they answer my email and tell me they are sorry but due to a new policy they have to charge sales tax. Well this amount is not conducive to the sales tax percentage and there is no sales tax on out of state sales. They just basically stole $137.16 from me. I would have given these guys a good word had they taken care of me. I understand COVID has been hard but they flat out stole money from me. Please beware of doing any business with these people.
