On my third order from lensstore.co.uk, I received a pair of contact lenses of inadequate quality. The colour had faded, and they just were not fit for purpose. I email lensstore.co.uk and explained that I have been wearing the specific brand of contact lenses for the past 20 years, and that this was not the usual colour result I expected. Lensstore.co.uk ignored my email for a length of time, until I emailed them again. They then decided to respond by sending me a lengthy email, about prescriptions and advised I should go to an opticians, when I could be shown all the colours, and decide which one suits me the best. HOW CONDESCENDING OF THEM! I was furious, and sent a reply explaining that I have been wearing the same contact lenses and colour for the past 20 years, and that I did not need their advice on this, I just needed another pair of lenses! They responded by offering me a 12.5% discount and free delivery, with the promise of a refund, once I had sent the defective pair back! My student discount is 15%, and I could not use it in conjunction to this one! Utterly disappointing and ridiculous offer. I replied with a final email, telling them this was out of the question, that I would just put their defective lenses, along with their poor service in the bin, and carry on using their, more expensive, competitor contactlenses.co.uk, because even though they are a little bit more expensive, their customer service is unparalleled. This is the end of my custom to lensstore.co.uk.
