Kristen and Jen at Lovely Planning were amazing guides through the entire planning process, even with our 3 month fast track timetable. Starting with recommendations for top quality vendors for all our needs, they were very responsive when adjustments were called for, and excelled at budget management. They were speedy in their communications, negotiated better prices for us, interfaced with hotel people, tent providers, caterers, and all vendors to minimize our stress. Even when the generator failed and the lights went out during the wedding dinner, they coordinated getting the power back on in about 15 minutes, taking an enormous load off us. I give them the highest marks possible, & recommend them without reservation.

The Fortress Dance Band, & bandleader Chinah, were a highlight of the wedding reception. The 9 piece band, including saxophone, female and male vocalists, were all extremely talented musicians and a great team. Even when we lost power, they continued with acapella by candlelight, never missing a beat. I rate them as truly phenomenal, and all our guests remarked on this outstanding group.

The crowning moment, illustrating their superior skills was when the generator failed during the wedding dinner, and they coordinated the restoration of power within about 15 minutes. This was a tremendous load off of us, the family, and a great example of how they minimize stress throughout the planning process and the wedding day. Even with our three month fast tack time frame, they made everything work smoothly, allowing us to enjoy the process, the big day, and the beautiful memories.
