I've been an Amazon Prime shopper for several years. Although I love the convenience, the points and the sometimes perks (which I don't often use), it upsets me that some prices like food items, sanitizers and sanitizing spray, rubber gloves (Playtex, specifically) are so much higher in price than at the grocery store. We're lucky to be able to find the products in Amazon, since we can't often find them in our grocery stores, but I really believe there's some price-gouging going on. Example: my hubby was finally able to find store-brand rubber gloves in our local grocery store last week (Wegmans) for $2.99. In an email today, I found Amazon's price for Playtex rubber gloves is $11.14. That's just one item. During the pandemic, I've found several other product prices to be way above traditional grocery store. I can understand a slight increase but many dollars is a little hard to accept.
