A supposedly "new and improved" take over of Verizon Wireless... this company is TERRIBLE! Customer service stinks and I have been over-billed multiple times after waiting for over 2 months to get my lines hooked up and working. Lie after lie was all I'd get when I would call to check on my service. Definitely would avoid them and Verizon at all costs if at all possible!

Great way to watch stuff for FREE! Movies, recent tv shows, etc. You'll want to have a relatively fast internet connection though or buffering time is too slow and interrupts your viewing. Also, you'll have to deal with occasional advertisements, but just consider them as the commercials you'd have to put up with if you were watching tv. This is FREE.

For a buck a night you can rent DVDs from their kiosks. You need a credit or debt card to use. On their website you can reserve your DVDs and pickup location closest to you. If you keep your movie for more than one night, you'll be charged for each additional night. They have a lot of new release DVDs available.

  • Netflix

Netflix. What more can be said?;-) If you can spare the 8 to 10 bucks a month, they're definitely worth it! I love that not only can you receive DVDs in the mail, but now with your monthly plan you can get unlimited streaming on your pc or tv too. If you've never tried Netflix, they usually offer a free month to new users. You can cancel at anytime.

  • Swan Drive In

The site isn't the most exciting, but if you've never been to a drive-in movie, it's an experience to have. This site gives movies and showtimes if you're ever traveling through the area.

I like the idea that you can name your own price on this site. That makes me check them out whenever I'm looking for a hotel stay.

  • Delta

9/24/10

I usually use discount sites for travel plans (like travelocity, expedia, etc) but booking my most recent flights, I actually found it to be cheaper to book directly through Delta. Just thought everyone should know. So often being busy we just use the discount sites and don't even check out the main ones even more. Although I'm sure dates and times and airports still play into pricing, it's been worth it to go to the site itself in this case.

I recently used this site for the 1st time, actually requesting a free sample, and I discovered they have some great customizable ecard-like messages you can send for free. They have some suggested slogans which in themselves make it worth coming up with someone to write to. Once on the site, you can skip the intro video and then click "send your man a personalized e-card". I like them.

If you can afford them, MOO makes the best business cards I have ever had! I first tried them out as a free sample pack of 10 cards that savecreatively.com had been offering through them. I was VERY IMPRESSED! You can customize every part of your card, including having a different picture on each and every one if you choose. The quality? I've never seen better! Definitely I would highly recommend them.

Although I've noticed this site has recently changed names, they have only improved what they specialize in and offer, (I've been using them for probably almost a year now). Everything on the entire site is FREE - family friendly games, giveaways, money saving suggestions and free samples each and every day! It was so refreshing to finally find a site that offered free stuff without requiring surveys or membership. They have a nice cash back shopping program, if you choose, but otherwise you never have to share any personal info. Even for the shopping, all you share is a name and email address. On average I receive 8 to 10 freebies in the mail each week from them. I pick the ones and want and wa-la! Checking the mailbox has become quite exciting lately!

  • Hey.its.free

Site lists free samples and discounts that are currently available. Usually with a somewhat entertaining description. Not all featured items are available though without going into the store or location for the free item or sometimes a social network account is a requirement to receive the freebie.

Nice way to read movie reviews and ratings all in one place. Old movies or new releases. I really liked it when they had the "Movie Mom Reviews" because they'd explain why a movie was rated the way it was and for what scenes. You can still learn a lot of what you're looking for though, even if they have taken "Mom's" reviews away.

  • BlueMountain

9/23/10

Although there's an option to join and have a membership, Blue Mountain offers many FREE ecards that are available without signing up. They have some very beautiful ones and if you search "free ecards" you'll be able to see all the cards you can use and not join or pay for.

  • Addicting Games

9/23/10

This is a great site for online games. Some are cheesy and some violent (if you're not into that kind of stuff), but you can see a brief description of each game before you play. They're great for embedding on your websites or social network pages.

  • Snapfish

As I've found most photo sites out there do, you'll end up with emails from them often with special offers and discount promo codes. Just be informed that you cannot combine promo codes on one order. The prints are good quality and usually ship reasonably quick.

  • Shutterfly

9/23/10

Shutterfly does a nice job with photo printing. Expect to receive emails from them with discount promo codes and special offers, if you can stand this though, they're worth it. Photos are stored when you upload the ones you want to print or make photo gifts out of. Prints work out to be cheaper than using a WalMart or drugstore photo printer. Be aware that you cannot combine promo codes on one order (for example free prints and free shipping offers) this doesn't work. Items are shipped pretty quickly usually.

If you're looking for cartoon looking ecards, they're a great site. Expect to possibly get a little spam or at least an occasional email from their company (if you fail to check 'do not contact me / I wish to not receive future emails' option). Otherwise, the cards are decent and seem to always send and be received easily. I use them often.

  • San Sebastian Winery

9/23/10

Although I've never ordered from them online, I highly recommend their products! If you don't have the privilege of living nearby or traveling to their winery, you'll want to go ahead and order online. The tour is free and nice and the wine tasting is also free and generous. Gift shop is a little pricey, but the wine is the best I've ever had! Go for the Vintner's red or white if you're trying to decide. They go great alone or with absolutely any meal you choose to pair them with.

  • Lake Chatuge Animal Hospital

The website is lacking, but the business is even worse! When you're taking your pet to the vet, you are expecting loving care and realistic advice to make sure you're giving your pet exactly what they need to live a happy, long life. Dr. Burr has to be one of the worst veterinarians out there, as not only are the prices outrageous and so much higher than other clinics, the love you want for your pet and genuine care you're looking for (be it basic checkup and shots or boarding while you're away) is totally non-existent. Additional charges are usually randomly and inexplicably applied to your bill upon checkout and you are unable to fight the charges as supposedly the treatment or whatever was already administered. I wouldn't take a street rat in need of care to them! Because even a rat deserves better!

  • GoJane

I have not yet ordered from them, but when my friend told me about the site, I decided to check it out. Their prices (particularity for formal dresses) seem very reasonable. They have a nice selection too.
