Last year Insignia air fryers that threaten the safety of your family and mine, were recalled. I returned mine in the recall. This process started last March. In May after waiting seemingly endlessly for them to do something I finally sent my Air Fryer back via their prescribed UPS service. May 13,2022. To this day I have not received the refund or even decent communications from these inept people. January 2023. Taking the Air Fryer and keeping the money means that BestBuy.ca is little more than a thief. I had other things I wanted to buy from this company, and have bought many things from them in the past.

I have stopped buying anything from them ever since March of 2022. Well done, BestBuy, well done. Lots of companies selling electronics and consumer goods and I tell everyone whoever talks about buying something from yourselves.

I liked this store in the Calgary Farmers Market at first. I just spent an hour trying to get their lavender bath bombs out of my bath tub. The only way I could get it out was increasingly caustic chemicals. It is a real disaster for something that should be so simple. Imagine what it does to your body! So annoyed. On the back of this I will never buy another product from these guys.

Tip for consumers:
I wouldn't trust another product from this store or site.

I am so cross about this rubbish product. I hate to think what it has done to my body, but I will never use it again. If it doesn't clean out of your tub with even harsh chemicals that isn't good.

They don't think things through. Try to do less and get it right first before adding features that don't work. Just be honest in your approach. I can see by other reviews you guys are not quite there yet. Shame. There is a lot right about Wealthsimple, but their overreach with service offers, including customer service, is shocking.

Yesterday waited for twenty minutes only to be disconnected before they attended my call. Paying for their "premium service" and it does not resemble a premium service. My monthly funding accordingly should be credited instantly to my account for trading. It hasn't been. So what am I and others paying for. I called. I sent an email. And, I am currently on hold with the chat team after having my time wasted by yet another one of their agents who pass the buck. It is a colossal waste of time. I am just a small account, but I do not abide sloppy service and dishonesty, NOR SHOULD YOU.

The pledge of "fast" adds insult to injury.

Anybody know if Robinhood has a Canadian offer?

Tip for consumers:
All of their additional features are under resourced and won't likely work as a normal person would think so avoid any of their enticing extras. Never mind how frustrated you will be by their customer service options.

The experience from the first contact to the final delivery today was nothing short of exceptional. They were direct and honest about pricing and installation from the get go. Their competitors did things like trying to surprise charge for a quote and even then came in at twice the price. Pete The Plumber has a well earned reputation. These guys had the best price, lived up to it, and there was no nonsense from start to finish. Mario who installed the hot water tank was a consummate professional. Credit to his profession!

From the moment of making the order each step was disappointing including not having the order confirmed for more than 24hrs after they had taken payment. They have excuses for everything. I was predisposed to like this proposition, but right up to and including their delivery partners, they dodge responsibility for their choices ie. Your delivery partners are your choice not ours... I won't be buying from them again despite what I believe is a decent product. It is available elsewhere. They could have won a client for life but definitely missed the opportunity.

Last Friday after the lies they stated my glasses would be with me in one to two business days. OF COURSE THIS ISN'T GOING TO HAPPEN. OF COURSE THEY LIED AGAIN. What is with businesses? Tell the customer the truth! But they lie to get your business in the door. They, of course, and like the corporate cowards they are, blame another contractor for their delivery failure. THAT IS A FAILURE TO DELIVER ON PROMISES. I didn't choose who they partner with, nor did they inform me of any delay.

I just spoke to a supervisor who couldn't even be bothered to apologize for their the level of incompetence they have demonstrated.

After two glaring errors on their part during the order process (advised me my glasses weren't available because I ordered progressives, blatantly false, then said they couldn't fulfil my contact order because I hadn't attached the prescription... didn't order contacts either). Now their two to four business days to manufacture turns to 8 (at least). I can't be bothered to cancel because I currently NEED the glasses. What a disappointing experience!

I was then told they would ship and I would receive them in two to four business days. Another lie. I was told they would contact me if that wasn't to be the case, another lie.

I did cancel Eye Buy Direct because of their lies. DON'T BUY YOUR GLASSES from either Eye Buy Direct or KITS! All the talk of lies makes it seem like a rant, but can businesses please stop lying to the consumer - PLEASE.

THEIR CUSTOMER SERVICE IS EITHER UNTRAINED OR LED BY AN INCOMPETENT!

Tip for consumers:
Avoid it. Not worth the additional stress of buying online.

I bought two pairs of glasses on June 30. When it became clear the other day that they wouldn't deliver on their promise of 10 to 14 business days delivery, I contacted them. Nothing! Later I spoke an agent (be advised they use bots like the Russians) who said he would escalate my concerns. Nothing. No response whatsoever.

Yesterday the response to yet another email about delivery yielded a message telling me to contact Paypal? Yeah, cos Paypal are in the delivery business. Today, no reply. Not to email. Not to the chat bot. So I called. They finally admitted that they had no intention of delivering on their 10 to 14 day promise. Shameful. There are lots of online glasses outfits. Do NOT bother with EyeBuyDirect, Canada or otherwise - but especially if you are Canadian. Try Clearly who actually appear to care about their customers. I have only become a client of Cleary as a result of this experience. EyeBuyDirect are charlatans and repugnant and lie. Perhaps they are a Russian scam. Save your frustration.

Not only did they promise bespoke goods to my door in 21 days and fail miserably they never bothered to inform me of delays, ignored emails, have tried to avoid responsibility and lied along the way. I recommend that Canadians stay away from this business. Spend your money where they care about customers and treat you with the respect and care you deserve.
