About Me

College student/Aviation fan.

How I Can Help

I regularly examine many different websites, to help the public understand their overall quality. Some websites are good, others are downright awful. All of my reviews are from experience, although I will never say my opinion is fact. I hate political content where it is not neccessary as well as bias and prejudice.

As others have stated before, Brainly.com is a thoughtful website that attempts to engage students and assist with their learning, yet the constant self - promotion and paywalls are quite ridiculous. Users should NEVER have their right to learn valuable information denied simply because they do not pay a website. I was once even stuck on a Lysol advertisement that wanted me to complete a puzzle.

While me and others use Brainly.com to better grasp our source material and better understand our learning, this service is poorly moderated and abused by cheaters. Cheating does not help others learn, and Brainly is partially responsible for this type of behavior because they do not have real guidelines or standards enforced. Brainly.com should allow students to access UNLIMITED information without having to pay them, and instead like Quizlet, use their "Plus" service to allow benefits, not simply lock away valuable information.

For the meantime, students should check out more reliable websites like Quizlet.com.

This website is a place where you can look up aeroplane information, however the forum portion is poorly managed. Moderation is apparently unfair, and overly strict. There are also users who enjoy harrassing others, so be warned!

If you are bored and aviation interests you, you can see local flights around the world! Flightradar24 will tell you a lot about the flight, which I find very fun. If I had one complaint it's only that other information is locked behind a paywall, but it's understandable since the website needs money. You can also see most flights near your local airport! Very fun service!

This website is strange, but not exactly in a good way. I know most defintions are meant to be jokes, but what's the point? A website with crude sexual defintions I never wanted to hear, especially made - up words that sound like Glenn Quagmire's fantasy. It's not informative, and whenever I come across this site it's pretty annoying. Very harmless, though very annoying.

Only visit this site to get a good laugh, since it's not an actual dictionary. The website itself looks very 2000's and cheap.

  • Twitter

Twitter is a service that allows you to post whatever you want. Unfortunately, the lack of moderation is what starts huge and heated arguments. Twitter allows you to post about topics like politics, and of course this starts disagreements. If you want to discuss about your life and avoid all drama, avoid Twitter. Twitter is polluted with ignorant, disrepectful people who won't agree with you no matter if your post is political or not. Twitter is also a victim of users who camp the site all day for a post that even slightly offends them, and there is instantly public outcry. This review may sound exaggerated, but sadly this is true, and it is quite hilarious how easily a so - called "LGBTQ" community member is easily offended by a joke or how easily a Politcal Bigot will disrespect your opinion. If you don't like drama, avoid Twitter. It is not a well moderated - and executed site. Instagram and Facebook are good substitutes, with much less pollution from people who can't respect your damned opinion. There are even pedophiles pretending to normalize dating chidren, it is absolutely disgusting. Twitter started out as an innocent social media site, but it has been taken advantage of by people who simply can't mind their own business or keep their mouth shut. I reccommend avoiding twitter for the time being.

  • Reddit

Reddit.com is a site where people can discuss different topics and communties. However, despite the great idea, the execution is not great. The site won't even let you post on most communities if you have "low karma" meaning you have to get people to like you in order for you to simply post on the site. Very poor execution. Also, the moderators on Reddit are known to ban you for stupid reasons, such as for not being specific enough about a post or simply disagreeing with them. There are also porn communities and innapropriate topics discussed, which was quite apalling to me. It's basically just a mix of ABC news and Youtube except innapropriate and despicable content is allowed. Yikes. Not safe for children. Also, there is a high chance that you will get snarky and rude comments on your post regardless of how friendly you are.

Would not reccommend. Go to a news site or Youtube, sites which are safe for everyone.
