yourmechanic.com , deliberately and unlawfully misclassified its employees as " independent contractors" . In order to violate Tax and payroll laws.

The Technicians DO NOT GET PAID for drive time, gas, parts store pick up time, or for all the phone time spent on the App.

They get a mere paultry 40 $ for most appointments AFTER DRIVING LONG DISTANCES IN HEAVY TRAFFIC UN PAID IN THEIR OWN VEHICLE ON THEIR OWN GAS.

CANCELLATIONS : HAPPEN FREQUENTLY AS A RESULT OF THE TECHNICIAN REALIZING THAT HE IS NOT GOING TO MAKE ANY MONEY ON YOUR APPOINTMENT...OFTEN DUE TO THE DISTANCE TO YOUR APPOINTMENT.

The Technicians for the most part are decent people but they are getting screwed, by , yourmechanic.com, and it causes the customer to get screwed as well.

Ask the Technician at YOUR APPOINTMENT to view HIS PICK UP RECEIPT FOR YOUR PARTS ...COMPARE THAT TO WHAT YOU WERE CHARGED FOR THE PARTS !!!!
