I bought a name brand cosmetics item on a lark not knowing what to expect. It showed up rather quickly and I was impressed. I was not impressed as soon as I opened the package and saw the actual product. I own several items of the real product so it was pretty easy to tell it was fake. Fortunately, tophatter has a great return policy for fakes. I submitted my request for refund and immediately got my money back.
Tip for consumers:
Don't be a dummy like me. If an item sells for $30 at Sephora and it's $3 on Tophatter it's probably fake.
See the photo below. The ones on the top and bottom are real. The middle one is the one from Tophatter.
