Propaganda machine. Always has been. They brainwash their viewers. Disgusting and dangerous for our republic.

The cable industry gets worse and worse. I handed in my equipment prior to the middle of the month because I was moving. My bill was not yet due. I paid a prorated amount due to cancelling mid-billing cycle. They told me that there was no refund when I turned in the equipment and that I had access to content via their website. As my internet service was ALSO THROUGH OPTIMUM, how was that going to happen? I have now received a notice from a collection agency for the other half of the bill.

I booked a hotel room for a few days on Booking.com. It was rated 3 stars. It was a hell-hole. It smelled of mold; the AC didn't work and the door wouldn't lock. After seeing the disgusting room. I asked for a refund from the hotel and got all but one night refunded. Later, Booking.com sent an email asking for a review of the hotel. Then I realized why it was rated 3 stars. Booking.com doesn't allow you to rate any lower than 2.5 stars, which they round up to 3 stars. This is UNEQUIVOCALLY DISHONEST. I am certain I am not the first, nor the last, to be scammed by them. I'm sure they are being paid a fee by these awful hotels. They are not representing the consumer. There are many other ways to find discount hotel rooms. Don't use Booking.com.
