I bought a MacBook Pro from Best Buy and ended up returning to the geek squad for over 60 hours! Of their trying to UNSUCCESSFULLY properly set Up my new computer. It was a nightmare as I needed it for business. They never got it right and each trip there was an hour for me. I then had to pay a private tech. 5 years later( this month), because of the good price, I purchased another Mac computer, keyboard etc. as well as A new printer Epson workforce 3720. The printer malfunctioned after spending 3 hours driving to and fro to pick it up, set it up, load it with new ink etc. If you need help, after holding for 30 minutes, they hang up on the phone as they don't want to answer a question that doesn't involve a new sale. Best Buy Is a substandard store. Selling is easy, but it's customer service that Satisfies customers. They have lost me as a customer and one day I won't be surprised when I read about their bankruptcy. Their disregard for my time and Tough-luck attitude when they sell broken merchandise or don't service it properly is clearly their corporate mentality. They should pay ME for the many hours I've Been inconvenienced Due to their faulty merchandise or indifferent and inept staff. (this does not apply to the sales people who are very nice)

After buying your Field and stream gun safe and having it delivered to our home, we found out that Extra brackets & shelving are unavailable though your salesman told us we could get them through the manufacturer when we bought the safe. I looked at the reviews (which I should've looked at BEFORE & found out many people were extremely frustrated for the same reason). I had to go to the hardware store to buy more brackets and pay a Carpenter to make extra shelves. I would never recommend this safe to anyone. There was no customer service phone number and very limited information in the one instructional brochure enclosed in the safe. Anyone can sell. GOOD Customer service defines vendors who will experience long-term success by being honest and knowledgeable about their products and serving customers who have issues. A 357 pound gun safe is it something you can't throw in your car and easily return, so we were stuck with it and the additional cost of time and money to fit it so it could function as we needed. Dick's, Field & Stream and Stackon (the manufacturer) were all unresponsive and indifferent to queries about the brackets and the shelves. Buyer beware because when these companies have your money you're on your own if anything is wrong! Lesson learned!

A former happy Horchow customer will order from them no more! I ordered six 6-piece sets of KASSATEX BATH towels. I was so disappointed upon the very first wash the threads started unraveling on the towels and the excessive lint that came off adhered to other items in the laundry. The blue batch unraveled as much as the tan ones. I'm having to return them all which is a timely, bulky inconvenience. I still have several 30-year-old monogrammed Horchow towels that have not worn out yet! Their standards are no longer the same and I suggest you not waste your time or money buying towels from them! In addition, when I ordered 2 sets of tan towels and 4 blue, they sent me an incomplete order with only the tan towels and charged me for all of them. They rectified everything politely but again my time is involved and now I'm having to take all of them back to the UPS store after scrounging to find a gigantic box & dealing with customer service to get a return label!

In an era where customer service and accountability seem to be diminishing, Amazon continues to shine in both areas. Over the years I have bought a variety of products from them and have been pleased with the consistent on-time delivery, excellent communication, swift and courteous customer service. I have confidence in buying any product they offer because in the rare cases there is a quality issue, they immediately send a label and make it very easy to return the item. They have saved me hundreds of hours shopping and deliver excellent merchandise at top value! What a pleasure it would be if other businesses shared their business model & consumer-friendly attitude.

I tried Shutterfly briefly 5 years ago & cancelled because it took SO much time to figure out their system. This week I joined again... after spending HOURS to make a simple book, I ordered another(promised 50% discount). The process was confusing & after painstakingly choosing 90 photos for a book, they spent an hour 'Uploading' & vanished! Also, after ordering FREE photos, I got to the end of the order to find $22.00 Shipping charge! They are sleazy & a waste of time. I'm done! Wish I'd read the many negative reviews before wasting my time... HOURS! Back to Walgreens for me!
